On the 75th anniversary of Nakba

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Nakba, that took place on 15 May 1948, when the newly established state of Israel proceeded to mass killings and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their land, the KKE expresses its full solidarity with the Palestinian people and its support for their long-lasting, heroic struggle. It condemns the raids by the Israeli occupation forces which have led these days to the death of more than 31 Palestinians, including 6 children and 3 women.

It is an ongoing crime committed with the timeless support of the USA and the EU, whose policy fuels the aggression of the Israeli state in Palestine and in the wider region.

The just struggle of the Palestinian people can be vindicatedwith the solidarity and firm support of the peoples, against all sorts of imperialist plans.

For the end of the Israeli occupation and its consequences.

For the creation of a united, independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders, with the people being master of their own land.

For the right of all Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, based on relevant UN resolutions.

For the immediate release of all Palestinian and other political prisoners held in Israeli jails.

Freedom for Palestine!

بيان المكتب اﻹعلامي بمناسبة الذكرى اﻠ75 للنكبة

بمناسبة الذكرى الخامسة والسبعين للنكبة، 15 أيار\مايو 1948، اليوم الذي قامت فيه دولة إسرائيل الحديثة التشكيل بارتكاب جرائم قتل جماعي وتشريد مئات الآلاف من الفلسطينيين من أراضيهم، يُعرب الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني عن تضامنه الكامل مع الشعب الفلسطيني و عن دعمه لنضاله البطولي المديد اﻷعوام. و يدين الحزب الغارات التي شنتها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والتي أدت خلال الأيام المنصرمة إلى مقتل أكثر من 31 فلسطينياً، بينهم 6 أطفال و 3 نساء.

إننا بصدد جريمة مستمرة تُقترفُ بدعم دائم من الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي، اللذين تغذي سياساتهما عدوانية الدولة الإسرائيلية في فلسطين والمنطقة الأوسع.

و مع امتلاكه لتضامن الشعوب و دعمها الحاسم،  باستطاعة نضال الشعب الفلسطيني العادل أن يجد إحقاقه ضد كافة أشكال  المخططات الإمبريالية.

من أجل إنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وعواقبه.

من أجل إقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة موحدة وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية على حدود عام 1967، مع الشعب سيداً في موطنه.

من أجل حق جميع اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في العودة إلى ديارهم، بناءاً على قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة.

من أجل الإفراج الفوري عن جميع المعتقلين الفلسطينيين وغيرهم من السجناء السياسيين المحتجزين في السجون الإسرائيلية.

الحرية لفلسطين!
