THE KKE ON THE DEVELOPMENTS IN SYRIA

In a statement, the Press Office of the CC of the KKEcommented on the developments in Syria as follows:

The KKE condemns the atrocious crimes committed in Syria by the jihadist regime, which was imposedby the intervention of the Turkish and Israeli states and the support of the USA and the EU. These crimes, which are directed against the Syrian people and especially against the ethnic and religious minorities, also bear the stamp of all those who backed this invasion and welcomed the fall of the Assad government, including the Greek government as well as the rest of the parties of the EU-NATO bloc–PASOK, SYRIZA, etc..

In particular, the government of New Democracy bears a great responsibility, because, through the mouth of Foreign Minister Gerapetritis, during his visit to Syria on 9February, itfostered false expectations of a supposedly “inclusive policy” and an “orderly political transition” from the jihadist governance. Once again, it is shown that imperialist warsand their “peace” with a gun to the peoples’ heads are the two sides of the same coin; capitalist barbarity and redivision of the world,which is underway with painful consequences for the peoples.

بيان الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني بشأن التطورات في سوريا

إن الحروب الإمبريالية، وكذلك "السلام" مع وضع المسدس في رأس الشعوب، هما وجهان لعملة واحدة

سجَّل بيان أصدرهُ المكتب الإعلامي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني بشان التطورات في سوريا، ما يلي:

 «يُدين الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني الجرائم الشنيعة التي يرتكبها نظام الجهاديين في سوريا، و الذي فُرِضَ بتدخل من الدولة التركية ودولة إسرائيل وبدعم من الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي. إن هذه الجرائم الموجهة ضد الشعب السوري وخاصة ضد الأقليات القومية والدينية،  تحمل خِتم أولئك الذين ساندوا هذا التدخل و حيّوا سقوط حكومة الأسد، بمن فيهم الحكومة اليونانية و باقي أحزاب التكتُّل الأوروأطلسي، حزب الباسوك و سيريزا و باقي الأحزاب.

وتتحمل حكومة حزب الجمهورية الجديدة على وجه الخصوص مسؤولية هائلة لأنها عملت – عِبرَ لسانِ وزير الخارجية السيد غيرابِتريتيس عندما زار سوريا في التاسع من شباط\فبراير- على تغذيةِ آمالٍ واهية بشان ما يسمى "سياسات شاملة" و "انتقال سياسي سلس" من جانب حكومة الجهاديين.  حيث يَثبُتُ و لمرة أخرى أن الحروب الإمبريالية، وكذلك "السلام" مع توجيه المسدس إلى رؤوس الشعوب، هما وجهان لعملة واحدة، هي بربرية الرأسمالية وإعادة اقتسام العالم الجارية مع عواقب مؤلمة للشعوب».
