THE KKE ON THE FATAL TRAIN CRASH

The Press Office of the CC of the KKEissued a statement on the fatal traincrash in Tempe, which reads as follows:

“The KKE expresses its sorrow for the unprecedented fatal train accident in Tempe and its sincere condolences to the families of the victims. It calls upon its members and friends to participate in the blood donations held in the towns where the injured are being hospitalized.

We demand that there be a full investigation into the causes of this tragedy, that nothing be covered up!

In any case, the tragedy in Tempe was not something that came as a bolt from the blue.

There have long been indications that a very dangerous situation has developed in rail transport, both for passengers and for workers. There were numerous warnings from workers that it was only a matter of time before a serious accident occurred, which were apparently ignored by the government and the company.

This is confirmed by the complaints about the poorly maintained network, about shortcomings and gaps in safety systems, staffing and critical infrastructure such as signage. These are precisely the issues raised just a few days ago by the statement madeby the trade union grouping of railway workerssupported by the KKE, with the shocking prediction that ‘we will not wait for the accident to come to see them shedding crocodile tears while making ex post observations’.

Therefore, this is not “bad luck”, but a crime that was bound to happen, having causes and culprits.

The company bears enormousresponsibility. In its statements, it provided no answer as regards the details and causes of the accident, or even the exact number of passengers on the train. However, it receives €50 million a year from the state as a subsidy.

All of the above are the result of the policy pursued over time of so-called railway liberalization, state underfunding, the fragmentation of the railway systeminto many parts and the privatization of the former TRAINOSE. This is a criminal —as is demonstrated— policy that bears the stamp of all the New Democracy, SYRIZA and PASOK governments to date. In the framework of this policy, workers have been made redundant, flexible working conditions and intensification have been imposed on those who remain, while the Italian company has been heavily subsidized.

These responsibilities cannot be absolved by the resignation of a minister, nor can they be hidden behind the Prime Minister’s statements about human errors.

This policy, which all the other parties loyally follow, has led to tragic accidents in other EU countries too. Therefore, no one has the right to pretend they did not know about the situation.

The necessary conditions for safe and modern rail transport are sacrificedon the altar of this criminal state policy and investor profits, since they are systematically treated as a cost.

The struggle against the above is literally a matter of life and death!”

Messages of condolences were sent to the KKE

Messages of condolences and solidarity with the Greek people were senton the occasion of the tragedy in Tempe. So far, the headquarters of the CC of the KKE have received messages by the Communist Party of Mexico,the Communist Party of the Workers of Spain and the Communist Party of Turkey.

Mobilizations of university students’unions in Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa

Most of the victims in the trainaccident had been waiting to happen wereuniversity students, returning to their place of study from a short holiday.

On Wednesday 1/3,the students’unions in the cities of Athens, Thessaloniki and Larissa held silent demonstrations outside the offices of the company “Hellenic Train” and at the railway stations, with the slogan “Our dead - their profits”.

In Athens, there was an unprovoked attack on the students by the police and riot police, who tried to disperse the gathering with tear gas, without success. The students marched to the Parliament, with the repressive forces continuing their attempt to disperse them by constantly throwing chemicals.

В заявлении пресс-службы ЦК Компартии Греции говорится:

«КПГ выражает соболезнование по поводу беспрецедентной железнодорожной аварии, произошедшей в Темпи, жертвами которой стали десятки человек, а также выражает искренние соболезнования семьям погибших. Она призывает своих членов и друзей принять участие в акциях по сдаче крови, организованных в городах, в больницы которых были доставлены раненые.

Мы требуем полного расследования причин этой трагедии, без сокрытия фактов!

В любом случае трагедия в Темпи произошла не на пустом месте.

Уже давно в сфере железнодорожного транспорта сложилась очень опасная ситуация как для пассажиров, так и для работников. От трудящихся поступали многочисленные предупреждения о том, что более серьезная авария — это лишь вопрос времени, которые, очевидно, были проигнорированы правительством и железнодорожной компанией.

Это подтверждают и жалобы на плохо обслуживаемую железнодорожную сеть, нехватку персонала, недостатки и пробелы в системах безопасности, критической инфраструктуре, такой как железнодорожные сигнальные знаки. Всего несколько дней назад  именно эти вопросы были подняты профсоюзной фракцией КПГ перед железнодорожниками и выпущено заявление, в котором было изложено шокирующее предсказание:«Мы не будем ждать грядущей аварии, чтобы увидеть, как они льют крокодиловы слезы, извлекая выводы».

Следовательно, речь идет не о несчастном случае, а о предопределенном преступлении, имеются причины и виновники.

Компания несет огромную ответственность за произошедшую трагедию. В  своих заявлениях она не дала ни одного внятного ответа, ничего не сказала о деталях,  о причинах аварии, даже о точном количестве пассажиров в поездах. Тем не менее, государство предоставляет ей  в качестве субсидии  50 миллионов евро в год.

Все вышеперечисленное – это результаты многолетней политики так называемой «либерализации» железных дорог, государственного недофинансирования, раздела железнодорожной компанииTRAINOSE на несколько частей и ее приватизации.

Как оказалось, речь идет о преступной политике, на которой лежит печать всех на сегодняшний день правительств - НД, СИРИЗА и ПАСОК. В рамках этой политики увольняли трудящихся, оставшимся работникам навязывали гибкие трудовые отношения и интенсифицировали их труд, в то время как итальянская компания получала огромные субсидии.

Отставка министра, а также заявления премьер-министра о человеческом факторе, не могут снять эту ответственность.

Политика, являющаяся для всех остальных партий непреложным руководством для действий, привела к трагическим авариям и в других странах ЕС. Так что никто не имеет права изображать из себя  незнающего.

На алтарь этой преступной государственной политики, как и на алтарь прибыли инвестора, в жертву приносятся необходимые условия для безопасных и современных железнодорожных перевозок, поскольку они систематически рассматриваются как «затраты».

Противодействие всему вышеперечисленному — это буквально вопрос жизни и смерти!»

Послания соболезнования КПГ

Послания соболезнования и солидарности греческому народу в связи с трагедией в Темпи. На данный момент в штаб-квартиру ЦК КПГ прислали послания Компартия трудящихся Испании, Компартия Мексики, Компартия Турции.

Акции протеста студенческих организаций в Афинах, Салониках, Ларисе

Большинство погибших в результате предопределенного преступления были студентами, возвращающимися на учебу после праздников.

В среду 1 марта студенческие организации провели молчаливые акции протеста у офисов компании «HellenicTrain» и на вокзалах в Афинах, Салониках и Ларисе под лозунгом «Нам мертвые - вам прибыль».

В Афинах студенты подверглись неспровоцированному нападению со стороны полиции и сил ОМОН, которые пытались разогнать митинг, распыляя слезоточивый газ, но безуспешно. Студенты шли маршем к парламенту, а репрессивные силы продолжали разгонять митингующих, применяя слезоточивый газ.

LE KKE SUR L’ACCIDENT FERROVIAIRE MORTEL

   Dans son communiqué, le Bureau de Presse du CC du KKE affirme:

"Le KKE exprime sa profonde tristesse pour l'accident ferroviaire mortel sans précédent dans la vallée de Tempé et ses sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes. Il appelle ses membres et amis à participer aux dons du sang organisés dans les villes où les blessés sont hospitalisés.

Nous exigeons qu'une enquête complète soit menée sur les causes de cette tragédie, que rien ne soit dissimulé!

De toute façon, la tragédie à Tempé n'est pas tombée du ciel.

Il y a longtemps que des signes indiquaient qu'une situation très dangereuse s'était créée dans le transport ferroviaire, tant pour les passagers que pour les travailleurs. Les travailleurs ont averti à maintes reprises que ce n'était qu'une question de temps avant qu'un accident plus grave ne se produise, mais ces avertissements ont apparemment été ignorés par le gouvernement et la compagnie.

Ce constat est confirmé par les dénonciations concernant le réseau mal entretenu, les lacunes et les insuffisances des systèmes de sécurité, du personnel et des infrastructures critiques telles que la signalisation. Ce sont précisément les questions soulevées il y a quelques jours par le communiqué de la fraction syndicale du KKE chez les cheminots, avec la prédiction choquante que "nous n'attendrons pas l'accident pour les voir verser des larmes de crocodile en faisant des observations".

Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un "mauvais moment", mais d'un crime annoncé avec des causes et des coupables.

La compagnie porte une lourde responsabilité; dans ses communiqués elle n'a donné aucune réponse sur les détails et les causes de l'accident, ni même sur le nombre exact de passagers dans les trains. Pourtant, elle reçoit 50 millions d'euros par an de l'État à titre de subvention.

Tout ce qui précède est le résultat de la politique permanente de la soi-disant "libéralisation" des chemins de fer, du sous-financement de l'État, de la fragmentation du fonctionnement des chemins de fer en plusieurs parties et de la privatisation de l'ancien TRAINOSE. Il s'agit d'une politique criminelle - comme il s'avère - qui porte la marque de tous les gouvernements (Nouvelle Démocratie, SYRIZA et PASOK) à ce jour. Dans le cadre de cette politique, des travailleurs ont été licenciés, des relations de travail flexibles et une intensification ont été imposées à ceux qui restent, tandis que l'entreprise italienne a été subventionnée au maximum.

Ces responsabilités ne disparaissent pas par la démission d'un ministre, et elles ne peuvent pas non plus être cachées derrière les déclarations du Premier ministre sur des erreurs humaines.

Cette politique, que tous les autres partis prônent, a conduit à des accidents tragiques dans d'autres pays de l'UE. Personne n'a donc le droit de jouer l’ignorant.

Sur l'autel de cette politique étatique criminelle, ainsi que sur l'autel des profits des investisseurs, les conditions nécessaires pour un transport ferroviaire sûr et moderne sont sacrifiées, car elles sont systématiquement traitées comme un "coût".

Le conflit avec ce qui précède est littéralement une question de vie ou de mort!"

Messages de condoléances au KKE

Des messages de condoléances et de solidarité ont été envoyés au peuple grec pour la tragédie de Tempé. Jusqu'à présent, des messages ont été envoyés au siège du CC du KKE par le Parti Communiste des Travailleurs d'Espagne, le Parti Communiste du Mexique et le Parti Communiste de Turquie.

Mobilisations des associations d'étudiants à Athènes, Thessalonique et Larissa

La plupart des morts dans ce crime ferroviaire annoncé sont des étudiants, retournant à leur lieu d'études après de courtes vacances.

Les associations d'étudiants des villes d'Athènes, de Thessalonique et de Larissa ont organisé mercredi 1er mars des manifestations silencieuses devant les bureaux de la société "Hellenic Train" et dans les gares, avec le slogan "Nos morts - leurs profits".

À Athènes, les étudiants ont été attaqués sans provocation par la police et la police anti-émeute, qui ont tenté de disperser le rassemblement avec des gaz lacrymogènes, sans succès. Les étudiants ont marché jusqu'au Parlement, les forces des répression  continuant à tenter de briser la mobilisation, tirant constamment des gaz lacrymogènes.

بيان الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني حول حادث القطار الذي أوقع العديد من القتلى

أفاد المكتب الإعلامي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني في بيان له :

«يُعرب الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني عن حزنه تجاه حادث القطار غير المسبوق الذي أوقع العديد من القتلى في تِمبي و عن تعازيه الصادقة لأسر الضحايا. و يدعو أعضائه وأصدقائه للمشاركة في حملات التبرع بالدم التي تنظم في المدن التي يعالج بها الجرحى.

إننا نطالب بتحقيق كامل في أسباب هذه المأساة وعدم التستر على أي شيء!

على أي حال، فإن مأساة تِمبي لم تأتي من العَدَم.

فقد كانت هناك مؤشرات و منذ وقت طويل على نشوء وضع خطير للغاية في مجال النقل بالسكك الحديدية، سواء أبالنسبة للركاب أم للعمال. حيث كانت هناك العديد من التحذيرات من جانب العمال بأن وقوع حادث أكثر خطورة هو مسألة وقت فقط، و هي التحذيرات التي تم تجاهُلُها على ما يبدو من قبل الحكومة والشركة.

هذا ما تأتي لتأكيده الشكاوى المتعلقة بسوء صيانة الشبكة، و بأوجه القصور والثغرات المتواجدة في أنظمة السلامة و الطواقم والبنى التحتية الحيوية، كنظام إشارات المرور. و هي المسائل التي كان قد طرحها بالضبط بيانٌ كان قد صدر منذ بضعة أيام عن الفصيل النقابي للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني لعمال السكك الحديدية، مع توقُّعٍ صادم كان مفاده: «أننا لن ننتظر الحادث القادم، لكي نراهم يذرفون دموع التماسيح مع قيامهم باستثباتات».

و بالتالي، فإننا لسنا بصدد "لحظة سيئة"، بل أمام جريمة عن سبق إصرار لها أسبابها ومذنبوها.

هائلة هي مسؤوليات الشركة، إذ لم تعطِ في بياناتها أي إجابة عن تفاصيل وأسباب الحادث، ولا حتى عن العدد الدقيق لركاب  القطارين. و مع ذلك، فهي تتلقى 50 مليون يورو سنوياً من الدولة كدعم.

إن كل ما سبق هو نتيجة السياسة الدائمة لما يسمى ﺒ"تحرير" السكك الحديدية، و نقص التمويل الحكومي، و تجزئة عمل السكك الحديدية إلى عدة أجزاء وخصخصة شركة TRAINOSE السابقة.

إننا بصدد سياسة إجرامية - كما يثبُت – و هي التي تحمل ختم جميع حكومات أحزاب الجمهورية الجديدة و سيريزا و الباسوك المتعاقبة حتى الآن. و في إطار هذه السياسة،  تم تسريح العمال، و فُرضت علاقات عمل مرنة مع تشديد وتيرتها على من بقوا في وظائفهم، في حين جرى دعم الشركة الإيطالية بتمويل هائل.

إن هذه المسؤوليات لا تُمحى عبر استقالة وزير، ولا يمكن إخفاؤها خلف تصريحات رئيس الوزراء عن خطأ بشري.

لقد قادت هذه السياسة، التي تعتبرها جميع الأحزاب الأخرى "إنجيلاً لها"، إلى وقوع حوادث مأساوية أيضاً في بلدان أخرى للاتحاد الأوروبي، لذا لا يحق لأحد أن يتظاهر بالجهل.

على مذبح سياسة الدولة الإجرامية هذه، وكذلك على مذبح أرباح المستثمر، تجري التضحية بالشروط الضرورية للنقل الآمن والعصري بالسكك الحديدية، ما دامت هذه الشروط تُواجه بنحو منهجي باعتبارها "تكلفة".

إن الصدام مع ما ذُكر أعلاه هو حرفياً مسألة حياة أو موت!».

رسائل تعزية وصلت إلى الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني

حتى الآن  وصلت إلى مقر اللجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني رسائل تعازي و تضامن مع الشعب اليوناني حول مأساة تمبي، من الحزب الشيوعي لعمال إسبانيا والحزب الشيوعي التركي و الحزب الشيوعي المكسيكي.

تحركات لجمعيات الطلاب في أثينا و ثِسالونيكي و لاريسا

كان معظم قتلى جريمة السكك الحديدية المُرتكبة عن سبق إصرار، هم من الطلاب الذين كانوا عائدين إلى مكان دراستهم بعد إجازة أيام وجيزة.

هذا و نظمت جمعيات الطلاب في مدن أثينا و ثِسالونيكي ولاريسا يوم الأربعاء 1\3 مظاهرات صامتة خارج مكاتب شركةHellenic Train وفي محطات السكك الحديدية، تحت شعار "أمواتنا - أرباحكم".

و في أثينا، تعرض الطلاب لاعتداء دون سبب من قبل قوى الشرطة و حفظ النظام، التي حاولت - دون جدوى -  تفريق التظاهرة باستخدام الغاز المسيل للدموع. حيث نفَّذ الطلاب مسيرة نحو البرلمان مع استمرار قوى القمع في محاولة تفريق التحرُّك مع استخدام الغاز الكيماوي باستمرار.
