The persecution against the Communist Party of Poland continues. The trial against the members of the editorial board of the party's newspaper „Brzask” is scheduled to restart. The first court session will be held on the 3rd of March. 

The trial continues for over 4 years despite the acquittal verdict of the court issued last year. The appeal of the prosecutor was a basis for restarting the trial. For the last 4 years, the prosecutors' office is directly subordinated to the government. This trial is a part of a campaign made by the state authorities to illegalize the Communist Party of Poland. 

Another anti-communist attack is an attempt to criminalize the communist activity by changes of the penal code. The amended article 256 of the code bans communism and equates it with Nazism and fascism, as previously it included it among the „totalitarian systems”. 

In recent years this article was used very widely as shows the trial of the CPP and „Brzask". The new version of the law bans the ideology, symbols or any other contents (prints, recordings) associated with communism. The new code also increases the penalty from 2 to 3 years of imprisonment. These changes were voted by parliament last year and were sent to the Constitutional Court. 

The repressions are accompanied by the anti-communist policy of rewriting history and removing monuments and names of the streets associated with communism and workers' movement from the public space. A serious part of these renaming of streets were recalled under the protests that triggerred in Poland. 

We demand all the prosecutions against the communists and penalization of communist ideas in Poland to be stopped immediately and all the anticommunist laws to be withdrawn. 

We call the communist parties for the international day of action on 2nd of March and solidarity protests against the political persecution by sending petitions and/or organising manifestations in front of Polish embassies around the world.

Преследование против Коммунистической партии Польши продолжается. Власти планируют возобновить судебный процесс против членов редколлегии партийной газеты «Brzask». Первое судебное заседание состоится 3 марта. Судебный процесс продолжается более 4 лет, несмотря на оправдательный вердикт суда, вынесенный в прошлом году. Основанием для возобновления судебного разбирательства послужила апелляция прокурора. Последние 4 года прокуратура напрямую подчиняется правительству. Этот процесс является частью кампании, проводимой государственными властями по признанию деятельности Коммунистической партии Польши незаконной.
Ещё одна антикоммунистическая атака - попытка криминализировать коммунистическую деятельность путём изменения Уголовного кодекса. Изменённая статья 256 УК Польши запрещает коммунизм и приравнивает его к нацизму и фашизму. В предыдущей редакции статья вводила уголовную ответственность за продвижение «фашистских или других тоталитарных государственных систем». В последние годы эта статья использовалась очень широко, что и демонстрирует суд над КП Польши и газетой «Brzask». Новая версия закона запрещает идеологию, символы или любое другое содержание (печатные издания, записи), связанные с коммунизмом. Новый кодекс также увеличивает наказание с 2 до 3 лет лишения свободы. Эти изменения были одобрены парламентом в прошлом году и направлены в Конституционный суд.

Репрессии против коммунистов сопровождаются антикоммунистической политикой переписывания истории и удаления памятников и названий улиц, связанных с коммунизмом и рабочим движением.

Мы требуем, чтобы все преследования против коммунистов и репрессии против коммунистических идей в Польше были немедленно прекращены.

Мы призываем коммунистические партии к международному дню действий 2 марта и протестам солидарности против политического преследования, направляя петиции и / или организуя манифестации перед польскими посольствами по всему миру.

Appel à l'action contre la persécution des communistes en Pologne

La persécution contre le Parti communiste de Pologne continue. Le procès contre les membres du comité de rédaction du journal du parti «Brzask» devrait reprendre. La première audience se tiendra le 3 mars.

Le procès se poursuit depuis plus de 4 ans malgré le verdict d'acquittement du tribunal rendu l'année dernière. L'appel du procureur a servi de base à la reprise du procès. Depuis 4 ans, le parquet est directement subordonné au gouvernement. Ce procès fait partie d'une campagne menée par les autorités de l'État pour interdire le Parti communiste polonais.

Cette autre attaque anti-communiste est une tentative de criminaliser l'activité communiste par des modifications du code pénal. L'article 256, amendé, interdit le communisme et l'assimile au nazisme et au fascisme, et l'inclus parmi les «systèmes totalitaires».

Ces dernières années, cet article a été très largement utilisé comme le montre le procès du CPP et de "Brzask". La nouvelle version de la loi interdit l'idéologie, les symboles ou tout autre contenu (gravures, enregistrements) associés au communisme. Le nouveau code augmente également la peine de 2 à 3 ans d'emprisonnement. Ces modifications ont été votées par le Parlement l'an dernier et transmises à la Cour constitutionnelle.

Les répressions s'accompagnent d'une politique anticommuniste de réécriture de l'histoire et de retrait des espaces publics des monuments et noms des rues associés au communisme et au mouvement ouvrier. Une partie sérieuse de ces changements de nom de rues a été rappelée lors des manifestations qui ont déclenché en Pologne.

Nous exigeons que toutes les poursuites contre les communistes et la pénalisation des idées communistes en Pologne soient arrêtées immédiatement et que toutes les lois anticommunistes soient retirées.

Nous appelons les partis communistes à une journée internationale d'action le 2 mars et des manifestations de solidarité contre la persécution politique en envoyant des pétitions et / ou en organisant des manifestations devant les ambassades polonaises à travers le monde.

Appello all'azione contro la persecuzione dei comunisti in Polonia

Continua la persecuzione contro il Partito Comunista Polacco. Il processo contro i membri del comitato di redazione del quotidiano di partito "Brzask" ripartirà. La prima sessione giudiziaria si terrà il 3 marzo.

Il processo continua da oltre 4 anni, nonostante il verdetto di assoluzione emesso dal tribunale lo scorso anno. L'appello del procuratore ha fatto sì che si riavviasse il processo. La procura, come si evidenzia dal suo operato nel corso degli ultimi 4 anni, è direttamente subordinata al governo. Questo processo fa parte di una campagna condotta dalle autorità statali per mettere fuori legge il Partito Comunista Polacco.

Un altro attacco anticomunista è il tentativo di criminalizzare l'attività comunista mediante modifiche al codice penale. L'emendamento all'articolo 256 del codice vieta il comunismo e lo equipara al nazismo e al fascismo, come precedentemente lo includeva tra i "sistemi totalitari".

Negli ultimi anni questo articolo è stato ampiamente utilizzato come dimostra il processo contro il KPP e "Brzask". La nuova versione della norma vieta l'ideologia, i simboli o qualsiasi altro contenuto (stampe, registrazioni) associato al comunismo. Il nuovo codice aumenta la pena da 2 a 3 anni di reclusione. Queste modifiche sono state votate dal Parlamento lo scorso anno e inviate alla Corte costituzionale.

L'azione repressiva è accompagnata dalla politica anticomunista di riscrivere la storia e rimuovere dallo spazio pubblico monumenti e nomi delle strade associati al comunismo e al movimento operaio. Una parte importante di questa ridenominazione delle strade è stata realizzata sotto le proteste che si sono scatenate in Polonia.

Chiediamo che tutte le azioni penali contro i comunisti e il sanzionamento delle idee comuniste in Polonia siano immediatamente fermati e che tutte le leggi anticomuniste vengano ritirate.

Chiamiamo i partiti comunisti a una giornata internazionale d'azione il 2 marzo e a proteste di solidarietà contro la persecuzione politica inviando petizioni e/o organizzando manifestazioni di fronte alle ambasciate polacche in tutto il mondo.
