Dear comrades, 

On behalf of the Communist Party of Turkey we declare that we firmly stand by the Sudanese people and the Sudanese Communist Party in their resistance against the military coup.  

The attempt of the military remnants and successors of the Islamic al-Bashir regime overthrown by the people's revolution in 2018 is totally illegitimate. The political forces who comply with the normalization with Israel and with the regional interests of US imperialism also have no legitimacy in determining the future of Sudan. A compromise with the counterrevolutionaries in the name of "national unity" and "dialogue" has already been condemned by the progressive forces of Sudan, primarily led by the Sudanese communists. 

We, as the communists of Turkey, share our sincerest feelings of solidarity with resistance of the Sudanese people against the coup and with the struggle of the Sudanese Communist Party against the reactionary and pro-imperialist forces.
