Government of Nicolás Maduro persecutes the Communist Party of Venezuela

Caracas, 17-07-2023 (TP Newsroom) - "The Communist Party of Venezuela, this historic party, the first to be founded among the contemporary parties of the country, now approaching its 93rd anniversary, has been persecuted by the leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) and the government of President Nicolás Maduro," denounced the communist leader Yul Jabour this Monday. 

In a press statement, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the PCV pointed out that the threats that were hanging over the Communist Party have materialized "through a group of mercenaries that have acted before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) by filing a lawsuit." 

Jabour underlined that the adherents to the appeal filed before the judiciary "serve other interests" and "are members of other political organizations.” 

The leader detailed that the leadership of the PCV has acted with diligence before the TSJ and thus advances in the necessary legal actions to "unmask these alleged members that disguise themselves with the symbology of the Communist Party of Venezuela, under the guidance of the PSUV leadership and the Government of President Nicolás Maduro, with the purpose of assaulting our political organization.” 

The PCV sent a warning message to the magistrates of the TSJ: "these gentlemen intend to commit a procedural fraud and incur in an inexcusable error.” 

Jabour insisted that the TSJ must take into account the absence of legal qualification that weighs on this group of people who claim a false condition of communist membership. 

"Whoever alleges a fact must prove it. And these gentlemen have said that they are militants of the Communist Party of Venezuela; an allegation that from the PCV we have shown to be false,” he pointed out. 

Jabour described the processes followed by the PCV for the realization of its XVI National Congress -the highest leadership instance of the Venezuelan communists- and recalled that all the documentation validating this event was timely submitted and admitted by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

New set-ups with false members

Jabour regretted the absence of "ethics and decency" in actors of the political life that have assumed the execution of this assault plan against the PCV. 

"We saw how in demonstrations promoted by the Government, in the case of Barinas state, a top leader of the Psuv, Minister Jorge Arreaza, appears photographed with a lady dressed in a tshirt of the Communist Party of Venezuela and who in reality is a recognized member of the Somos Venezuela organization,” he explained. 

The member of the Political Bureau pointed out that these maneuvers are fabricated to try to position before the public opinion an alleged division of the PCV: "something that is absolutely false, something absolutely created by those leaderships that today pretend to have some acronyms subordinated to their policy to justify the anti-popular, anti-working class and anti-nationalist agenda of the Government.” 

"Today the ball is in the court of the Supreme Court of Justice; the highest entity in charge of administering justice in the country and guaranteeing the rights of Venezuelans in any field. Today, the rights of the Communist Party of Venezuela and its members are being violated,” warned Jabour. 

"There is a threat on democracy in the country; on institutionality in the country; on freedom of political and public opinion. Any decision that goes against those rights would leave a serious precedent in the legal and political history of the country,” he concluded.

Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro judicializa al Partido Comunista de Venezuela

Caracas, 17-07-2023 (Redacción TP).- “El Partido Comunista de Venezuela, este partido histórico, el primero en ser fundado entre los partidos contemporáneos del país, ya próximo a cumplir los 93 años, ha sido judicializado por la cúpula del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (Psuv) y el gobierno del presidente Nicolás Maduro”, denunció este lunes el dirigente comunista Yul Jabour. 

En una declaración de prensa, el Buró Político del Comité Central del PCV señaló que las amenazas que se cernían sobre el partido del Gallo Rojo se han materializado “a través de un grupo de mercenarios que han actuado ante el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ) interponiendo un recurso de amparo”. 

Jabour subrayó que los adherentes del recurso interpuesto ante el Poder Judicial, “sirven a otros intereses” y “militan en otras organizaciones políticas”. 

El dirigente detalló que la dirección del PCV ha actuado con una diligencia ante el TSJ y así avanzar en las acciones jurídicas necesarias para “desenmascarar a estos supuestos militantes que se disfrazan con la simbología del Partido Comunista de Venezuela, por orientación de la cúpula del PSUV y del Gobierno del presidente Nicolás Maduro, con la finalidad de asaltar a nuestra organización política”. 

El PCV envió un mensaje de alerta a las y los magistrados del TSJ: “estos señores pretenden que se cometa un fraude procesal y se incurra en un error inexcusable”. 

Jabour insistió en que desde el TSJ se debe tener en cuenta la ausencia de cualidad jurídica que pesa sobre este grupo de personas que se atribuyen una falsa condición de militancia comunista. 

“Quien alega un hecho debe probarlo. Y estos señores han dicho que son militantes del Partido Comunista de Venezuela; un alegato que desde el PCV hemos demostrado que es falso”, apuntó. 

Jabour describió los procesos que siguió el PCV para la realización de su XVI Congreso Nacional -máxima instancia de dirección de las y los comunistas venezolanos- y recordó que toda la documentación que valida este evento fue consignada oportunamente y admitida por el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE).

Nuevos montajes con falsos militantes

Jabour lamentó la ausencia de “ética y decencia” en actores de la vida política que han asumido la ejecución de este plan de asalto contra el PCV.

“Vimos cómo en manifestaciones promovidas por el Gobierno, en el caso de Barinas, un alto dirigente del Psuv, el ministro Jorge Arreaza, aparece fotografiado con una señora vestida con una franela del Partido Comunista de Venezuela y que en realidad es una reconocida militante de la organización Somos Venezuela”, explicó. 

El integrante del Buró Político señaló que estas maniobras son fabricadas para intentar posicionar ante la opinión pública una supuesta división del PCV: “algo absolutamente falso, algo absolutamente creado por esas cúpulas que hoy pretenden tener unas siglas subordinadas a su política para justificar la agenda antipopular, anti obrera y antinacionalista del Gobierno”. 

“Hoy la pelota está del lado del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia; el máximo ente encargado de administrar justicia en el país y de garantizar el derecho de los venezolanos en cualquier ámbito. Hoy se están vulnerando los derechos del Partido Comunista de Venezuela y de sus militantes”, advirtió Jabour. 

“Hay una amenaza sobre la democracia en el país; sobre la institucionalidad en el país; sobre la libertad de opinión política y pública. Cualquier decisión que vaya en contra de esos derechos dejaría un grave precedente en la historia jurídica y política del país”, concluyó.
