PCV rejects kidnapping of Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi

Almost a month after the beginning of the new genocidal escalation of Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the PCV reiterated its solidarity with the Palestinian cause and resistance. 

"We have seen in the last hours that Israeli forces have kidnapped the activist Ahed Tamimi, a 22-year-old girl who at a very young age became a symbol of the Palestinian resistance against Zionism," indicated Andrade. 

"This young woman was kidnapped and has been presented as a war trophy by Israel's security minister. In addition to this kidnapping, about which we express our rejection, there is also the increasingly terrible data of a situation that is becoming more and more shocking: the latest report we received this morning already gives an account of more than 10,000 dead. Of these 10,000 dead, the majority are women and children. There is an ongoing policy of extermination by Israel against the Palestinian people," she denounced. 

"Before the complicit silence of the so-called international community, Israel has raized more than 200 schools and more than a dozen hospitals; they have murdered journalists, doctors, even workers of the United Nations itself. From the Communist Party of Venezuela we reiterate our rejection of these crimes against humanity that are being carried out in Gaza. We send our message of strength; we know that ultimately, Palestine will win", she concluded.

PCV rechaza secuestro de la activista palestina Ahed Tamimi

A casi un mes del inicio de la nueva escalada genocida de Israel contra el pueblo palestino en Gaza, el PCV reiteró su solidaridad con la causa y la resistencia palestina. 

“Hemos visto en las últimas horas que fuerzas israelíes han secuestrado a la activista Ahed Tamimi, una joven de 22 años que a muy temprana edad se convirtió en un símbolo de la resistencia palestina contra el sionismo”, indicó Andrade. 

“Esta joven fue secuestrada y ha sido presentada como un trofeo de guerra por el ministro de Seguridad de Israel. A este secuestro, sobre el cual expresamos nuestro rechazo, también se suman los datos cada vez más terribles de una situación cada vez más estremecedora: el último reporte que hemos recibido esta mañana ya da cuenta de más de 10.000 muertos. De esos 10.000 muertos la mayoría son mujeres y niños. Hay en curso una política de exterminio por parte de Israel contra el pueblo palestino”, denunció. 

“Ante el silencio cómplice de la denominada comunidad internacional, Israel ha arrasado más de 200 escuelas y más de una decena de hospitales; han asesinado a periodistas, a médicos, incluso a trabajadores de la propia Organización de Naciones Unidas. Desde el Partido Comunista de Venezuela reiteramos nuestra a estos crímenes de lesa humanidad que se están ejecutando en Gaza. Vaya nuestro mensaje de fortaleza; sabemos que en última instancia, Palestina vencerá”, concluyó.
