The PCV condemns the vile assassination of comrade Ludivia Galindez Jiménez

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), expresses its energetic condemnation of the vile assassination of the Colombian revolutionary leader Ludivia Galindez Jiménez, member of the Regional Direction of the Colombian Communist Party in the region of Caquetá, defender of human rights and president of the Association of Community Action Boards of the municipality of La Montañita. 

Irregular armed groups perpetrated the murder last Friday night, February 23, in her home, located in the city of Florencia, Caquetá. The assassination of comrade Ludivia Galindez Jiménez represents a new blow of reactionary violence against social leaders and human rights defenders. 

From the PCV, we express our condolences to the family and friends of comrade Ludivia Galindez, likewise, we convey our firm solidarity to the Colombian Communist Party (PCC) and all its militancy, in the face of this abominable event. 

We demand from the Colombian authorities the most exhaustive investigation, and that the intellectual and material authors of the vile crime be found, judged and condemned.

El PCV condena el vil asesinato de la camarada Ludivia Galindez Jiménez

El Buró Político del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), expresa su enérgica condena por el vil asesinato de la lidereza revolucionaria colombiana Ludivia Galindez Jiménez, integrante de la Dirección Regional del Partido Comunista Colombino en la región de Caquetá,  defensora de los derechos humanos y presidenta de la Asociación de Juntas de Acción Comunal del municipio La Montañita. 

Grupos armados irregulares perpetraron el asesinato el pasado viernes 23 de febrero en horas de la noche en su vivienda, ubicada en la ciudad de Florencia, Caquetá. El asesinato de la camarada Ludivia Galindez Jiménez representa un nuevo golpe de la violencia reaccionaria contra los lideres sociales y defensores de derechos humanos. 

Desde el PCV, expresamos nuestras condolencias a los familiares y amigos de la camarada Ludivia Galindez, así mismo, transmitimos nuestra firme solidaridad al Partido Comunista Colombiano (PCC) y toda su militancia, frente a este abominable suceso. 

Demandamos a las autoridades colombianas la más exhaustiva investigación, y que los  autores intelectuales y materiales del vil crimen, sean encontrados, juzgados y condenados.
