Solidarity with the Communists of Syria

The jihadist government in Syria, which seized power by force with Western support in December 2024, suspended the constitution on 29 January. Among other things, the constitution codified social rights and the equality of all population groups. In addition, the jihadists not only dissolved the former ruling party, the Baath Party, but also a number of other parties, including the Syrian Communist Party and the Syrian Communist Party (unified) as well as other socialist and anti-imperialist parties. Rebuilding these organisations under a different name was banned and their assets were confiscated.

The German Communist Party condemns these bans and stands in solidarity with the communists of Syria. This measure is an attempt to eliminate forces that have always stood up firmly for the defence of the rights of the popular masses and for the sovereignty of the country.

We are convinced that our comrades will successfully continue the fight against imperialism and reaction for a free, independent and progressive Syria.

Солидарность с коммунистами Сирии

Правительство джихадистов в Сирии, захватившее власть силой при поддержке Запада в декабре 2024 года, 29 января приостановило действие конституции. Среди прочего, она предусматривала социальные права и равные права для всех групп населения. Кроме того, джихадисты распустили не только бывшую правящую партию, партию Баас, но и ряд других партий, включая Сирийскую Коммунистическую партию и Сирийскую Коммунистическую партию (Объединенную), а также другие партии социалистической и антиимпериалистической ориентации. Восстановление этих организаций под другим названием было запрещено, а их активы конфискованы.

Германская Коммунистическая партия осуждает эти запреты и выражает солидарность с сирийскими коммунистами. Эта мера - попытка ликвидировать силы, которые всегда решительно выступали в защиту прав народных масс и суверенитета страны.

Мы убеждены, что наши товарищи успешно продолжат борьбу против империализма и реакции, за свободную, независимую и прогрессивную Сирию.

¡Solidaridad con los comunistas de Siria!

El gobierno yihadista de Siria, que tomó el poder por la fuerza en diciembre de 2024 con el apoyo de Occidente, suspendió la constitución el 29 de enero. Entre otras cosas, estipulaba derechos sociales

e igualdad de derechos para todos los grupos de la población. Además los yihadistas no sólo disolvieron el antiguo partido gobernante, el Partido Baaz, sino también otros partidos, como el Partido Comunista Sirio y el Partido Comunista Sirio (unido), así como otros partidos de orientación socialista y antiimperialista.

La reconstrucción de estas organizaciones bajo otro nombre ha sido prohibida y sus bienes están siendo confiscados.

El Partido Comunista Alemán condena estas prohibiciones y se solidariza con los comunistas de Siria.

Esta medida es un intento de eliminar fuerzas que siempre han optado por la defensa de los derechos de las masas y por la soberanía del país.

Estamos convencidos de que nuestros camaradas continuarán la lucha contra el imperialismo y la reacción, por una Siria libre, independiente y progresista de Siria con éxito.

Solidarität mit den Kommunisten Syriens

Die Dschihadisten-Regierung in Syrien, die im Dezember 2024 gewaltsam mit westlicher Unterstützung die Macht ergriffen hat, setzte am 29. Januar die Verfassung außer Kraft. Diese schrieb unter anderem soziale Rechte und die Gleichberechtigung aller Bevölkerungsgruppen fest. Zudem lösten die Dschihadisten nicht nur die frühere Regierungspartei, die Baath-Partei, auf, sondern auch eine Reihe anderer Parteien, darunter die Syrische Kommunistische Partei und die Syrische Kommunistische Partei (vereinigt), sowie weitere sozialistisch und antiimperialistisch orientierte Parteien. Ein Wiederaufbau dieser Organisationen unter anderem Namen wurde verboten, ihr Vermögen wird eingezogen.

Die Deutsche Kommunistische Partei verurteilt diese Verbote und steht solidarisch an der Seite der Kommunistinnen und Kommunisten Syriens. Diese Maßnahme ist der Versuch, Kräfte auszuschalten, die immer entschieden für die Verteidigung der Rechte der Volksmassen und für die Souveränität des Landes eingetreten sind.

Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass unsere Genossinnen und Genossen den Kampf gegen Imperialismus und Reaktion, für ein freies, unabhängiges und fortschrittliches Syrien erfolgreich weiterführen werden.
