Dear Comrades,

-On the return of the SCP delegation from their mission abroad on Thursday the19th,the Sudanese security forces arrested comrade Salih Mahmoud  member of the Polit bureau at Khartoum Airport.Since his detention his whereabouts are unknown.

-Comrades Alkhateeb the Political Secretary of the SCP CC and Amal alzain,member of the SCP polit bureau attended a press conference at the party headquarters in which they spoke about their mission which included  talks with the Movement for the Liberation of Sudan leader Abdalwahid in Juba,capital of the Republic of South Sudan,and Alhilo leader of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Sudan in Kawda.The consultations were aimed at agreeing on join approach to intensify the ongoing struggle of the Sudanese toiling masses to  topple the junta regime and establish the complete civilian democratic rule.

-Special armed security group forced their way into  Al Khateeb house ,arrested him and led him to an unknown destination.

-The SCP strongly condemns the growing recent repressive measures directed by the junta against the leading members of the SCP.The SCP demands the immediate release of both comrades Alkhateeb and Salih.

-The SCP calls on all communist and workers parties to denounce the detention of comrades ALkhateeb and Salih and demand their immediate release.

-The SCP will continue the fight against the present military regime,by strengthening cooperation with radical forces in the process to establish the unified leadership centre to coordinate the mass protest actions to defeat the rule of the military junta and wrench the people's power.
