Resolution of solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV)

The Parties gathered at the 23rd International Meeting of Communist and Workers Parties (IMCWP), held in Izmir, Türkiye, on October 19-22, 2023, express our concern for the judicialization against the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) by the Supreme Court of Justice, which overlooks the legitimate leadership elected by the XVI National Congress of the PCV and appoints an ad hoc board made up of people who do not belong to the PCV in order to usurp its legal figurehead.

We express our concern for the negative precedent that this legal sentence establishes in terms of a regression of the democratic rights and liberties for the Venezuelan working class.

We call on the institutions of the Venezuelan State to respect the autonomy of the PCV, to put an end to the illegal usurpation of its legal figurehead, and to recognize the decisions emanating from its XVI National Congress, held from November 3 to 5, 2022. In this sense, we request that the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela revoke the legal sentence N° 1,160 and reinstate the legitimate National Leadership and membership of the PCV's legal and democratic rights.

We declare that we only recognize the Central Committee elected by the XVI National Congress of the PCV as the only legitimate leadership of the PCV.

Likewise, the Communist and Workers Parties gathered in Izmir, Türkiye, want to reiterate our firm solidarity with the people of Venezuela in the face of imperialist aggressions, and our demand for the immediate lifting of the criminal unilateral sanctions and the cessation of imperialist interference in Venezuela.

Resolución de solidaridad con el Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV)

Los Partidos reunidos en el 23 Encuentro Internacional de Partidos Comunistas y Obreros (EIPCO), realizado en Izmir, Turquía, del 19 al 22 de octubre de 2023, expresamos nuestra preocupación por la medida de judicialización adoptada contra el Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), por parte del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de Venezuela, que desconoce la dirección legítima electa por el XVI Congreso Nacional del PCV, y designa una junta ad hoc conformadas por personas que no pertenecen al PCV con el fin de usurpar su personalidad jurídica.

Expresamos nuestra preocupación por el precedente negativo que establece esta sentencia judicial que marca un retroceso en los derechos y libertades democráticas de la clase trabajadora venezolana.

Hacemos un llamado a las instituciones del Estado venezolano para que se respite la autonomía del PCV, se ponga fin a la usurpación ilegal de su personalidad jurídica, y se reconozcan las decisiones emanadas de su XVI Congreso Nacional, celebrado del 3 al 5 de noviembre del 2022. En este sentido, solicitamos a la Sala Constitucional del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de Venezuela, que sea revocada la sentencia judicial N° 1.160, y se restituya a la legítima Dirección Nacional y militancia del PCV, sus derechos legales y democráticos.

Declaramos que solo reconocemos como única dirección legítima del PCV, el Comité Central electo por su XVI Congreso Nacional del PCV.

Así mismo, los Partidos Comunistas y Obreros reunidos en Izmir, Turquía, queremos reiterar nuestra firme solidaridad con el pueblo de Venezuela frente a las agresiones imperialistas, y nuestra exigencia de levantamiento inmediato de las sanciones unilaterales criminal y el cese de la injerencia imperialista sobre Venezuela.

Les partis réunis à la 23e Rencontre internationale des partis communistes et ouvriers (RIPCO), qui se tient à Izmir, en Türkiye, du 19 au 22 octobre 2023, expriment leur préoccupation face à la mesure de judiciarisation adoptée contre le Parti communiste du Venezuela (PCV) par la Cour suprême de justice du Venezuela, qui ignore la direction légitime élue par le XVIe Congrès national du PCV et nomme un conseil ad hoc composé de personnes n'appartenant pas au PCV afin d'usurper la personnalité juridique de ce dernier.

Nous exprimons notre inquiétude quant au précédent négatif créé par cette décision de justice, laquelle marque une dégradation des droits et des libertés démocratiques de la classe ouvrière vénézuélienne.

Nous demandons aux institutions de l'État vénézuélien de respecter l'autonomie du PCV, de mettre fin à l'usurpation illégale de sa personnalité juridique et de reconnaître les decisions émanant de son XVIe Congrès national, qui s'est tenu du 3 au 5 novembre 2022. En ce sens, nous demandons à la Chambre constitutionnelle de la Cour suprême de justice du Venezuela de révoquer la sentence judiciaire N° 1.160, et de restituer à la direction nationale légitime et au militantisme du PCV ses droits légaux et démocratiques.

Nous déclarons que nous ne reconnaissons comme seule direction légitime du PCV que le Comité central élu par le XVIe Congrès national du PCV.

De même, les partis communistes et ouvriers réunis à Izmir, en Türkiye, souhaitent réitérer leur ferme solidarité avec le peuple vénézuélien face aux agressions impérialistes, et leur demande de levée immédiate des sanctions unilatérales criminelles et de cessation de l'ingérence impérialiste au Venezuela.

Резолюция солидарности с Коммунистической партией Венесуэлы (КПВ)

Партии, собравшиеся на 23-ю Международную встречу коммунистических и рабочих партий (МВКРП), состоявшуюся в Измире, Турция, 19-22 октября 2023 года, выражаем нашу обеспокоенность в связи с мерой судебного преследования, принятой против Коммунистической партии Венесуэлы (КПВ) Верховным судом Венесуэлы, который не признает законного руководства, избранного XVI Национальным Съездом КПВ, и назначает специальный совет, состоящий из лиц, не принадлежащих к КПВ, с целью узурпации их правосубъектности.

Мы выражаем нашу обеспокоенность по поводу негативного прецедента, созданного этим судебным решением на уровне ущемления демократических прав и свобод венесуэльского рабочего класса.

Мы призываем институты венесуэльского государства уважать автономию ПКВ, положить конец незаконной узурпации ее правосубъектности и признать решения, принятые ее XVI Национальным Съездом, состоявшимся с 3 по 5 ноября 2022 года. В этом смысле мы требуем, чтобы Конституционная палата Верховного суда Венесуэлы отменила судебное решение № 1160 и восстановила свои законные и демократические права на законное национальное руководство и членство КПВ.

Мы заявляем, что признаем в качестве единственного законного руководства КПВ только Центральный комитет, избранный XVI Национальным Съездом КПВ.

Точно так же Коммунистические и рабочие партии, собравшиеся в Измире, Турция, хотим подтвердить нашу решительную солидарность с народом Венесуэлы перед лицом империалистической агрессии и наше требование немедленной отмены преступных односторонних санкций и прекращения империалистического вмешательства в Венесуэлу.
