D. Koutsoumbas from Patras: the vote for the KKE is the one that can rock the boat

On Tuesday 16/5, the GS of the CC of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, spoke at a mass pre-election rally in Patras, the third largest city in Greece, where Kostas Peletidis, a communist mayor, has been elected. In his speech, Dimitris Koutsoumbas stressed among other things:

“In the past years, we have fought battles amidst the pandemic, we broke the unacceptable bans and took to the streets for the strengthening of the public health system, for protective measures at workplaces, means of transport, schools and universities.

We did not wait to ‘settle accounts later’, nor did we propose ministers of common consent with the New Democracy, like SYRIZA. After all, what do we have in common with them? We are worlds apart... We fought battles in the trade union movement to repeal anti-labour laws, to sign Collective Labour Agreements with wage increases, to appeal dismissals. We did not wait for the elections, as some were calling for, because ‘the conditions are not ripe for us to achieve things’, as they said. Our people could not wait. They struggled. We struggled together. And we have won several victories. [...]

In order for us to achieve even more together,  you know what you have to do next Sunday. You know very well that things are not stagnant. That the contribution of each and every one of us to the collective effort multiplies our strength and can make a difference. You know that the vote for the KKE is the one that can rock the boat.”

Д.Куцумбас из Патр: голос за КПГ может всколыхнуть ситуацию!

Во вторник, 16 мая, Генсек ЦК КПГ Димитрис Куцумбас выступил на большом предвыборном митинге в Патрах, третьем по величине городе Греции, мэром которого является коммунист Костас Пелетидис. В своем выступлении он среди прочего отметил:

«В течение этих лет мы боролись в условиях пандемии, нарушали неприемлемые запреты и выходили на улицы. Мы боролись за укрепление системы общественного здравоохранения, за усиление санитарно-гигиенических мер на рабочих местах, транспорте, в школах и университетах.

Мы не собирались «отчитываться позже» и не предлагали, как это делала партия СИРИЗА, поддержать единую кандидатуру от двух партий (СИРИЗА и НД) на пост министра. Что у нас может быть общего с ними? Ведь мы - два разных мира… Мы вели борьбу в профсоюзном движении за то, чтобы остались на бумаге антирабочие законы, за подписание коллективных трудовых договоров, повышение заработной платы, отмену увольнений. Мы не стали дожидаться выборов. Нам говорили, что не стоит сейчас выступать, так как «не созрели условия для того, чтобы чего-нибудь добиться». Наш народ не мог ждать. Он боролся. Мы боролись вместе с ним. И мы  добились довольно многого. [...]

Вы знаете, что вам нужно сделать в следующее воскресенье, чтобы вместе мы могли добиться еще большего. Вы прекрасно знаете, что мир не стоит на месте, что вклад каждого в коллективные усилия умножает нашу силу и может изменить положение дел. Вы знаете, что голос за КПГ может всколыхнуть ситуацию».

Dimitris Koutsoumbas desde Patras: El voto al KKE es el que puede agitar las aguas

El martes 16 de mayo, el Secretario General del Comité Central del KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, habló en un gran mitin pre-electoral en Patras, la tercera ciudad más grande de Grecia, cuyo alcalde es el comunista Kostas Peletidis. En su discurso el Secretario General destacó entre otras cosas que:

“Durante estos años, en la pandemia, libramos luchas, rompimos las prohibiciones inaceptables y salimos a las calles por la mejora del sistema público de Sanidad, por medidas de protección en los centros de trabajo, en los medios de transporte, en las escuelas y las universidades.

No esperábamos “hacer cuentas más tarde”, ni tampoco propusimos ministros  de aceptación conjunta con la ND, como hizo SYRIZA. Al fin y al cabo ¿qué tenemos en común para poder aceptarlos? Somos dos mundos diferentes... Libramos luchas en el movimiento obrero sindical para que no se aplicaran las leyes antilaborales, para que se firmaran convenios colectivos de trabajo con aumentos en los salarios, para que se retiraran los despidos. No nos quedamos esperando a las elecciones, como nos decían algunos, porque “no se han madurado las condiciones para lograr cosas”. Nuestro pueblo no podía esperar. Luchó. Luchamos juntos. Y conseguimos varias victorias. […]

Ya sabéis lo que debéis hacer el próximo domingo para que consigamos juntos aún más. Sabéis muy bien que las cosas no están estancadas; que la contribución de todos y cada uno en el esfuerzo colectivo multiplica nuestra fuerza y puede marcar la diferencia. Sabéis que el voto al KKE es lo que puede agitar las aguas.”

ذيميتريس كوتسوباس من باترا: بإمكان التصويت لصالح الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني أن "يحرك المياه الراكدة"!

تحدث الأمين العام للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني ، ذيميتريس كوتسوباس، يوم الثلاثاء 16\5 في تجمع جماهيري كبير قبل الانتخابات في باترا، ثالث أكبر مدن اليونان التي يوجد بها رئيس بلدية شيوعي، كوستاس بيليتيذيس. و شدَّد في سياق كلمته: «خُضنا في هذه السنوات معارك وسط الوباء، وكسرنا الحظر غير المقبول وخرجنا إلى الشوارع. من أجل تعزيز نظام الصحة العامة، و تدابير الحماية في مواقع العمل و وسائل النقل والمدارس والجامعات.

و لم ننتظر "لنتحاسب لاحقاً" ولم نقترح وزراء مقبولين بنحو مشترك مع حزب الجمهورية الجديدة كما فعل سيريزا. و في كل حال، ما الذي نشترك معهم في قبوله؟ ما دُمنا نمثِّل عالمين مختلفين ... و خُضنا معارك أيضاً في الحركة النقابية. لكي تبقى القوانين المناهضة للعمال حبراً على ورق، و من أجل توقيع اتفاقيات عمل جماعية مع زيادات في الرواتب، و إلغاء تسريح العمال. لم ننتظر الانتخابات كما دعانا البعض، لأن "الظروف ليست مواتية لتحقيق مكاسب"، على حد قولهم. لم يستطع شعبنا الانتظار. ناضل. ناضلنا معا. و حققنا انتصارات عديدة. [...].

أنتم تعرفون ما ينبغي القيام به يوم الأحد المقبل حتى نتمكن من تحقيق المزيد معاً. تعلمون جيداً أن الأمور ليست ساكنة. و أن مساهمة كل واحد و واحدة مِنا في المحاولة الجماعية تضاعف قوتنا ويمكن أن تحدث فرقاً. تعلمون أن التصويت لصالح الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني " يمكن أن يُحرِّك المياه الراكدة".
