The developments in Turkey once again expose the EU, NATO and the USA, which have made the Erdoğan government a strategic partner 

The KKE expresses its solidarity with the Turkish people and the Communist Party of Turkey and demands an end to the repression and persecution and the release of those arrested

The Press Office of the CC of the KKE issued the following statement on the developments in Turkey:

“The KKE condemns the decision of the Turkish state and the AKP government to arrest and remove from office the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu, the repression of demonstrations and the mass arrests of demonstrators, including cadres of the Communist Party of Turkey and the Communist Youth of Turkey, as well as journalists.

These developments once again expose the EU, NATO and the USA, which have made the Erdoğan government a strategic partner and a ‘guardian’ of their interests in the region. They show the intensification of the intra-bourgeois contradictions, for which the people will pay the price.

The KKE expresses its solidarity with the Turkish people and the Communist Party of Turkey and demands an end to the repression and persecution and the release of those arrested.”

Los acontecimientos en Turquía desenmascaran una vez más a la UE, la OTAN y EEUU que han declarado al gobierno de Erdogan socio estratégico

El KKE expresa su solidaridad con el pueblo y el Partido Comunista de Turquía y exige que cesen la represión y la persecución y que se libere a los presos

La Oficina de Prensa del CC del KKE emitió la siguiente declaración sobre los acontecimientos en Turquía:
«El KKE denuncia la decisión del Estado turco y del gobierno del AKP de detener al alcalde de Estambul, Ekrem Imamoglu, y destituirlo de su cargo, la represión de las manifestaciones y las detenciones masivas de manifestantes, incluidos miembros del Partido Comunista y de la Juventud Comunista de Turquía, así como periodistas.

Estos acontecimientos desenmascaran una vez más a la UE, la OTAN y EEUU, que han hecho del gobierno de Erdogan un socio estratégico y un «guardián» de sus intereses en la región. Ponen de relieve la intensificación de los conflictos interburgueses que, en última instancia, está sufriendo el pueblo.

El KKE expresa su solidaridad con el pueblo y el Partido Comunista de Turquía y exige que se ponga fin a la represión y la persecución y que se libere a los presos».

Solidarität der KKE mit dem Volk und der Kommunistischen Partei der Türkei - Forderung nach dem Ende der Repression und Verfolgung sowie nach der Freilassung der Inhaftierten

Die Pressestelle des ZK der KKE hat folgende Erklärung zu den Entwicklungen in der Türkei herausgegeben:

"Die KKE verurteilt die Entscheidung des türkischen Staates und der AKP-Regierung, den Istanbuler Bürgermeister Ekrem Imamoglu zu verhaften und aus dem Amt zu entfernen, die Niederschlagung von Demonstrationen und die Massenverhaftungen von Demonstranten, darunter Mitglieder der Kommunistischen Partei und der Kommunistischen Jugend der Türkei, wie auch von Journalisten.

Diese Entwicklungen stellen einmal mehr die EU, die NATO und die USA bloß, die die Regierung Erdogans zu einem strategischen Partner und „Bewahrer“ ihrer Interessen in der Region gemacht haben. Sie verdeutlichen die Verschärfung der innerbürgerlichen Gegensätze, für die letztlich die Völker einen hohen Preis zahlen sollen.

Die KKE drückt ihre Solidarität mit dem Volk und der Kommunistischen Partei der Türkei aus und fordert die Beendigung der Repression und Verfolgung sowie die Freilassung der Inhaftierten."
