SOLIDARITY WITH THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE

KKE delegation visited the Palestinian Embassy

A delegation of the KKE, consisting of Giorgos Marinos, member of the PB of the CC of the KKE and MP and Elias Nazir, member of the International Relations Section of the CC, visited the Palestinian Embassy and met with Yussef Dorkhom, Chargé d’Affaires and head of Diplomatic Representation of Palestine to the Hellenic Republic.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on developments in the region and the escalation of the Israeli state's aggression against the Palestinians, which is currently assuming dangerous proportions.

Yussef Dorkhom thanked the KKE for its firm solidarity and support for the struggles of the Palestinian people.

Giorgos Marinos denounced the Israeli occupation and the murderous attacks of the Israeli army against the Palestinians, the dangerous plans to maintain and expand the settlements.

He referred to the dangers of the various imperialist agreement plans promoted by the US and its allies in the Middle East, noting that these agreements consolidate the Israeli occupation, are directed against the Palestinian people and their struggle for an end to the occupation and an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

زيارة وفد للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني للسفارة الفلسطينية

زار وفد للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، مؤلف من يورغوس مارينوس، عضو المكتب السياسي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني و النائب عن الحزب، و الياس نصير، عضو قسم العلاقات الأممية للجنة المركزية، السفارة الفلسطينية والتقى بالقائم بأعمال الممثلية الدبلوماسية لدولة فلسطين، يوسف ضرخم. هذا و جرى خلال اللقاء تبادل لوجهات النظر حول تطورات المنطقة و حول تصعيد دولة إسرائيل عدوانيتها ضد الفلسطينيين، و هي التي تتخذ أبعادا خطيرة في الفترة الراهنة.

و شكر القائم باﻷعمال الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني على تضامنه الدائم ودعمه لنضالات الشعب الفلسطيني.

كما و استنكر يورغوس مارينوس الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والهجمات القاتلة للجيش الإسرائيلي ضد الفلسطينيين، والخطط الخطيرة للحفاظ على المستوطنات وتوسيعها.

وأشار إلى مخاطر مخططات التسويات الإمبريالية المختلفة التي تروج لها الولايات المتحدة مع حلفائها في الشرق الأوسط، مُسجِّلاً أن هذه التسويات تُحصِّنُ الاحتلال الإسرائيلي و أنها موجهة ضد الشعب الفلسطيني و ضد نضاله الهادف من أجل إنهاء الاحتلال و إقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة على حدود عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
