Solidarity with the thousands of miners in Georgia

The International Relations Section of the CC of the KKE issued a statement on the strike of thousands of miners in Georgia, which reads as follows:

“The KKE expresses its solidarity with the thousands of striking miners in Georgia.

For almost two weeks now, 3.5 thousand miners in the city of Chiatura in Georgia have been on strike against the inhuman working conditions they experience, while demanding an increase in their wages.

Their strike has been faced with the intransigence of the employers and the indifference of the bourgeois government.

30 years after the overthrow of socialism and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, workers in Georgia are also experiencing all the impasses of the capitalist mode of production, including the deterioration of their working conditions, ‘accidents’ at the workplace, and  impoverishment.

The KKE expresses its full solidarity with the striking workers in Georgia and demands that their just demands be met!”

Солидарность с тысячами шахтеров Грузии

В заявлении Международного отдела ЦК КПГ относительно забастовки тысяч шахтеров в Грузии говорится:

 «КПГ выражает солидарность с тысячами бастующих шахтеров Грузии.

Почти две недели 3500 шахтеров в грузинском городе Чиатура бастуют против бесчеловечных условий труда на шахтах, одновременно требуя повышения заработной платы.

К забастовке их подтолкнули неуступчивость работодателя и равнодушие буржуазного правительства.

Спустя 30 лет после свержения социализма и распада Советского Союза трудящиеся в Грузии также сталкиваются со всеми тупиками капиталистического способа производства, в том числе с ухудшением условий труда, преступлениями на производстве и ​​экономическим обнищанием.

КПГ выражает свою безраздельную солидарность с бастующими рабочими Грузии и требует удовлетворения их справедливых требований».

Solidaridad con los miles de mineros en Georgia

En su comunicado sobre la huelga de miles de mineros en Georgia, la Sección de Relaciones Internacionales del Comité Central del KKE menciona:

“El KKE expresa su solidaridad con los mineros en huelga en Georgia.

Desde hace dos semanas, los 3.500 mineros de la ciudad de Chiatura en Georgia están en huelga contra las condiciones de trabajo inhumanas que están experimentando, exigiendo al mismo tiempo un aumento de sus salarios.

Su huelga se enfrenta a la intransigencia de la patronal y a la indiferencia del gobierno burgués.

Treinta años después del derrocamiento del socialismo y la disolución de la Unión Soviética los trabajadores de Georgia también están experimentando todos los impasses del modo de producción capitalista, entre otros el deterioro de las condiciones de trabajo, los crímenes de la patronal en los centros de trabajo, su miseria económica.

El KKE expesa su plena solidaridad con los huelguistas de Georgia y exige la satisfacción de sus demandas justas.”
