Statement on the developments in the Middle East

The Press Office of the CC of the KKE issued the following statement on the developments in the Middle East:

The missile attack launched by Iran against Israel in retaliation for the ongoing criminal actions of the Israeli state, with the support of the USA, NATO and the EU, is an expected development.

It confirms the course of events leading to a very dangerous escalation and generalization of the war in the Middle East and the wider region, which could take on even greater dimensions if Israel and its allies attack Iran.

The policy pursued by the state of Israel and the Netanyahu government is not only directed against other peoples but also against the Israeli people, turning them into a target for reprisals.

From the very first moment, the KKE has warned that Israel’s barbarity and genocide against the Palestinian people, the assassinations of political leaders, the bombings and the plan for a ground operation against Lebanon are further sharpening rivalries and opening the gates of hell for the peoples of the region.

In the face of these developments, the Greek government, which plays the role of the defender of Israeli crimes and actively participates in the US-NATO plans in support of Israel, bears enormous responsibilities and is leading the people and the country into a military involvement with unpredictable consequences.

The ND government has no mandate from the Greek people to participate in an imperialist war and support the occupier ofPalestinian and Lebanese territories followingthe ground operations in the sovereign state of Lebanon, leading the peoples of the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterraneanin general to bloodshed and suffering, and turning the Greek people into a target ofretaliation.

The Greek frigate dispatched to the Red Sea in the framework of the EU operation “Aspides”, which has been thrown into the lion’s den, must return home immediately. Any form of support by the Greek government to the murderous state of Israel must end. Greece must disengage from imperialist wars. The US-NATO bases and infrastructure must be closed down. Solidarity must be expressed with the peoples who shed their blood due to imperialist interventions and wars.

The peoples have the power to cancel these plans, to refuse to become cannon fodder for the imperialists and to defeat the system that gives rise to poverty, wars and refugees.

Заявление относительно событий на Ближнем Востоке

В заявлении пресс-службы ЦК КПГ относительно событий на Ближнем Востоке говорится следующее:

 «Ракетный удар Ирана по Израилю в ответ на продолжающиеся преступные действия израильского государства при поддержке США, НАТО и ЕС является ожидаемым развитием событий.

Подтверждается курс на весьма опасную эскалацию конфликта и генерализацию войны на Ближнем Востоке и в более широком регионе, которая может принять ещё более ужасающие масштабы  в случае удара Израиля и его союзников по Ирану.

Политика государства Израиль и правительства Нетаньяху направлена ​​не только против других народов, но и против самого израильского народа, так как превращает его в мишень для ответных ударов.

КПГ с самого начала предупреждала, что варварство Израиля, геноцид, который он совершает в отношении палестинского народа, убийства политических лидеров, ракетные удары,  план наземной операции в Ливане обостряют противоречия до предела  и открывают «врата ада» для народов региона.

Перед лицом этих событий правительство Греции, играя роль защитника израильских преступлений и активно участвуя в американо-натовских планах поддержки Израиля, берет на себя огромную ответственность и толкает народ и страну  в пучину войны непредвиденных масштабов.

Греческий народ не давал никакого разрешения правительству НД  на участие в империалистической войне и поддержку оккупанта  палестинских территорий, а  также территорий независимого государства Ливан, на которых он проводит наземные операции, топя в крови и страданиях народы Ближнего Востока, всего Восточного Средиземноморья, превращая  греческий народ в мишень для ответных ударов.

Требуем от греческого правительства немедленно отозвать греческий фрегат, находящийся буквально в «волчьей пасти» в рамках операции ЕС «Аспидес» в Красном море; прекратить оказывать всякую поддержку преступному государству Израиль и вывести нашу страну из империалистических войн, закрыть  американо-натовские  военные базы и инфраструктуру. Необходимо выразить солидарность с народами, проливающими кровь из-за империалистических операций и войн.

В силах народа - отменить эти планы, не позволить стать «пушечным мясом» империалистов и победить систему, порождающую бедность, войны и беженцев».

Comunicado de la Oficina de Prensa del CC del KKE

sobre los desarrollos en el Medio Oriente

La Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central del KKE en su comunicado sobre los desarrollos en el Medio Oriente señala lo siguiente:

“El ataque con misiles de Irán contra Israel, enrepresalia por los continuos actos criminales del Estado israelí con el apoyo de EE.UU, la OTAN y la Unión Europea, es un desarrollo previsible.

Se confirma el curso de la peligrosa escalada y generalización de la guerra en el Medio Oriente y en la región más amplia, que puede tomar dimensiones aún más aterradoras en caso de un ataque de Israel y de sus aliados contra Irán.

La política del Estado de Israel y del gobierno de Netanyahu se dirige no solo contra los demás pueblos, sino también contra el propio pueblo israelí convirtiéndolo en objetivo de represalias.

El KKE había advertido desde el primer momento que la brutalidad de Israel y el genocidio contra el pueblo palestino, los asesinatos de líderes políticos, los bombardeos y el plan de intervención terrestre contra el Líbano están intensificando los antagonismos y están abriendo las “puertas del infierno” para los pueblos de la región.

Frente a estos acontecimientos el gobierno griego, desempeñando el papel del defensor de los crímenes israelíes y participando activamente en los planes de  apoyo de EE.UU y de la OTAN a Israel, asume grandes responsabilidades y conduce al pueblo y al país a una guerra con dimensiones imprevisibles.

El gobierno de la ND no ha sido autorizado por el pueblo griego a participar en una guerra imperialista en apoyo al ocupante de tierras palestinas y de tierras del Estado soberano del Líbano a través de misiones terrestres, llevando a los pueblos del Medio Oriente a la masacre y al sufrimiento, convirtiendo al propio pueblo griego en objetivo de represalias.

Exigimos el regreso inmediato de la fragata griega del Mar Rojo que está literalmente en la “boca del lobo”, en el marco de la misión “Áspides” de la Unión Europea. Exigimos el retiro de todo apoyo del gobierno griego al Estado-asesino de Israel y la desvinculación de nuestro país de las guerras imperialistas, el desmantelamiento de las bases y de la infraestructura de EE.UU y de la OTAN. Exigimos que se exprese solidaridad con los pueblos que se desangran a causa de las intervenciones y las guerras imperialistas.

Los pueblos tienen la fuerza de cancelar estos planes, de no aceptar convertirse en “carne para los cañones” de los imperialistas y derrotar el sistema que genera pobreza, guerras y olas de refugiados.

Communiqué sur les développements au Moyen-Orient

Dans un communiqué sur les développements au Moyen-Orient, le Bureau de Presse du Comité Central du KKE souligne ce qui suit:

"L'attaque de missiles de l'Iran sur Israël, en représailles aux actions criminelles menées par l'État d’Israël avec le soutien des États-Unis, de l'OTAN et de l'UE, est une évolutionattendue.

Cet événement confirme le cours de l’escalade très dangereuse, ainsi que de la généralisation de la guerre au Moyen-Orient et dans la région au sens large, qui pourrait prendre des dimensions encore plus démesurées en cas d'attaque d'Israël et de ses alliés contre l'Iran.

La politique de l'État d'Israël et du gouvernement Netanyahou est dirigée non seulement contre d'autres peuples, mais aussi contre le peuple israélien lui-même, le transformant en cible de représailles.

Le KKE avait prévenu dès le début que la barbarie et le génocide commis par Israël contre le peuple palestinien, les assassinats des dirigeants politiques, les bombardements et le plan d'intervention terrestre au Liban exacerbent au maximum les antagonismes et ouvrent les "portes de l'enfer" pour les peuples de la région.

Face à ces développements, le gouvernement grec, en jouant le rôle de défenseur des crimes israéliens et en participant activement aux plans de soutien des États-Unis et de l'OTAN à Israël, assume d'énormes responsabilités et entraîne notre peuple et notre pays dans uneimplication militaire aux dimensions imprévisibles.

Le gouvernement de la ND n'a pas l'autorisation du peuple grec de participer à une guerre impérialiste aux côtés de l'occupant des territoires palestiniens et des territoires libanais, aprèsles opérations terrestres contre l’État souverain du Liban, en ensanglantant les peuples du Moyen-Orient et de toute la Méditerranée orientale, ainsi qu’en faisant du peuple grec lui-même une cible de représailles.

La frégate grecque qui se trouve littéralement dans la "gueule du loup", en Mer Rouge,  participant à l'opération "Aspides" de l'UE, doit rentrerimmédiatement; tout soutien du gouvernement grec à l'État meurtrier d'Israël doit être retiré; notre pays doit désengager  des guerres impérialistes, alors que les bases et les infrastructures des États-Unis et de l'OTAN en Grèce doivent fermer.Nous devons exprimer notre solidarité avec les peuples qui saignent à cause des interventions et des guerres impérialistes.

Les peuples ont le pouvoir d'annuler ces planifications, de ne pas accepter de devenir la "chair à canon" des impérialistes et de vaincre le système qui génère de la pauvreté, des guerres et du déracinement."

بيانٌ بشأن التطورات في الشرق الأوسط

أفادَ المكتب الإعلامي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، في بيانٍ له بشأن التطورات في الشرق الأوسط، بما يلي:

« يُشكِّلُ الهجوم الصاروخي الإيراني على إسرائيل، باعتباره اقتصاصاً من  الأعمال الإجرامية المستمرة التي تقترفها الدولة الإسرائيلية بإسنادٍ من الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي والاتحاد الأوروبي، تطوراً متوقعاً.

و هو يؤكِّدُ مسار تصعيد و تعميم الحرب الشديد الخطورة في الشرق الأوسط والمنطقة الأشمل، و الذي يمكن أن يأخذ أبعاداً مهولة أكثر، في حال اعتداء إسرائيل وحلفائها على إيران.

إن سياسة دولة إسرائيل وحكومة نتنياهو ليست موجهة فقط ضد الشعوب الأخرى، بل و أيضا ضد الشعب الإسرائيلي نفسه الذي  يتحوَّلُ إلى هدف لعمليات الاقتصاص.

لقد حذَّر الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني منذ البداية من أن بربرية إسرائيل والإبادة الجماعية بحق الشعب الفلسطيني، واغتيال القادة السياسيين، و عمليات القصف وخطة التدخل البري ضد لبنان، تُفاقِمُ المزاحمات إلى أقصى حدٍّ و "تفتح أبواب الجحيم"  على شعوب المنطقة.

و أمام هذه التطورات فإن الحكومة اليونانية التي تلعب دور المدافع عن الجرائم الإسرائيلية وتشارك بنشاط في خطط دعم الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي لإسرائيل، تتحمل مسؤوليات هائلة وتقود الشعب والبلاد إلى تورطٍ حربي ذي أبعاد لا يمكن توقعها.

إن حكومة حزب الجمهورية لا تملكُ توكيلاً من الشعب اليوناني للمشاركة في حرب إمبريالية، مع دعم محتلِّ الأراضي الفلسطينية و أراضي دولة لبنان المستقلة أيضاً من خلال عمليات برية، وإغراق شعوب الشرق الأوسط و شرق المتوسط بنحو أشمل في الدماء والمعاناة، مما يجعلُ الشعب اليوناني ذاته هدفاً لعمليات اقتصاص.

فلتَعُد هنا والآن الفرقاطة اليونانية من البحر الأحمر و المتواجدة حرفياً في "فم الذئب"، في سياق عملية الاتحاد الأوروبي "أسبيذس". و ليُسحَب كل دعم للحكومة اليونانية من دولة إسرائيل القاتلة و لتَنفكّ البلاد عن الحروب الإمبريالية، و لتُغلق القواعد والبنى التحتية الأمريكية اﻷطلسية. و ليُعرب عن التضامن مع الشعوب التي تنزف بسبب التدخلات والحروب الإمبريالية.

تمتلكُ اللشعوب قوة إلغاء هذه الخطط وعدم قبول بأن تصبح "وقوداً لمدافع" الإمبرياليين، من أجل هزيمة النظام الذي يَلدُ الفقر والحروب واللجوء.
