The KKE and KNE commemorated the 49^th anniversary of the Polytechnic uprising of students and workers in Athens against the fascist junta, which was supported by the USA and NATO. The mass and militant march ended at the US embassy, with slogans that conveyed to the people the call to write a new page in history, to take the baton of struggle for the timely and unfulfilled demands for “Bread–Education–Freedom”.

On 17/11/22, people of all ages, thousands of workers and young people, parents with young children, and workers that fought great battles at their workplace and are preparing for the next ones, participated in the contingents of the sectoral and area-based organizations of the KKE and KNE. They formed a vast red sea that sent the strong and clear message that the character of the Polytechnic uprising is relevant 49 years later; it is to be found in the people’s struggle for their rights, against imperialist plans and wars, for the overthrow of the system of poverty and exploitation.

The banner of the Party Organization of Attica, which was at the head of the march, read “On the path of the unyielding struggle, with the people at the forefront. That is how our just cause is won! That is how history is written!”, setting the tone for the demonstration. “The people do not forget, they honour the militants” was the slogan shouted by the KKE and KNE members to honour the militants of the Polytechnic uprising and the struggle against the dictatorship, continuing the ideological–political struggle against the dictatorship of capital, against the system that brings the people face to face with energy poverty, the harsh reality of deteriorating living conditions, and the inhuman face of imperialist war.

“Profits for the few, poverty for the many, that is the power of the capitalists”, the demonstrators denounced. In the face of today’s barbarity, they sent a message of militant optimism that “Our future is not capitalism, it is the new world, socialism”.

At a time when the war continues raging on the territory of Ukraine and the competition of the imperialists may lead to an escalation and generalization of the military conflict, the demonstration focused on the demand for Greece’s disengagement from imperialist plans. “NATO, the USA, and their bases out of Greece”, “No land, no water for the murderers of the peoples”, “NATO and Russia are redividing the world, they draw the borders with the peoples’ blood”, “NATO out of Greece, the bases must be closed down, no involvement in military interventions”, “In Greece and Turkey the enemy is the same; NATO, the governments, capitalism”, were some of the slogans read on the banners and shouted by the KKE and KNE organizations.

Thousands of protesters chanted the slogan “Conscripts are the people’s children, they must not be sent outside the borders”, which was also written in the banner of the young conscripts, who demonstrated despite the ban imposed on them, receiving warm applause for their stance.

“We honour November following the path of struggle for studies and life with contemporary rights”. This slogan written on the banner of the Athens University Student Associations demonstrated that the timely messages of the uprising find expression in the students’ demands, that the lessons drawn from the struggles of the past illuminate the path for the struggles of today.

The demonstration was also attended by trade unions and the Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE). Dozens of anti-imperialist demonstrations took place throughout the country, while in Thessaloniki the demonstration marched outside the US consulate.

The messages of Polytechnic uprising are still relevant and timely

The march was attended by a large delegation of the CC of the KKE, led by its General Secretary, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, who made the following statement: “The commemoration events and marches that take place 49 years later show that the messages of the Polytechnic uprising, such as ‘The USA, NATO, and the bases of death out of Greece’, the messages for the protection of the people's income, against poverty and unemployment, for public and free education and health care, against state repression, fascism, phone tapping and monitoring, i.e. the dictatorship of capital, are still relevant and timely to this day.”

КПГ и КМГ отметили 49-ю годовщину восстания студентов политехнического института и рабочих Афин против поддержанной США и НАТО фашистской хунты, приняв участие в крупной и боевой демонстрации, завершившейся у стен посольства США, скандируя лозунги, призывающие народ написать своей борьбой последующие страницы истории, принять эстафету борьбы за актуальные и нереализованные требования «Хлеб - Образование - Свобода».

Люди всех возрастов, тысячи трудящихся и молодых людей, родители с маленькими детьми, работники предприятий, на которых в прошедший период проходили крупные акции протеста, а сейчас идет подготовка к последующей борьбе, выстроились вчера во вторую половину дня в колонну отраслевых и территориальных организаций КПГ и КМГ. Крупная красная демонстрация, послала мощный и ясный сигнал о том, что память о восстании студентов политехнического института жива 49 лет спустя, она живет в борьбе народа за свои права, против империалистических планов и войн, за свержение эксплуататорской системы, порождающей бедность.

Во главе колонны находился баннер партийной организации Аттики, который гласил: «С народом протагонистом по пути неотступной борьбы. Так побеждает правота! Так пишется история!». Члены КПГ и КМГ скандировали лозунг «Народ не забывает, он чествует борцов», отдавая дань уважения борцам политехнического института и всем тем, кто вел антидиктаторскую борьбу, держа открытым идейно-политический фронт против диктатуры капитала, капиталистической системы, толкающей народ к энергетической бедности, суровой реальности, приводящей к ухудшению условий жизни, показывающей бесчеловечное лицо империалистической войны.

«Прибыль для немногих, нищета для большинства — это власть капиталистов», скандировали участники демонстрации. Перед лицом сегодняшнего варварства они послали сигнал оптимизма: «Наше будущее —  не капитализм, а новый мир, социализм».

В то время, когда на территории Украины продолжает бушевать война, а конфликт между империалистами грозит перерасти в широкомасштабный военный конфликт, центральным требованием демонстрации был выход Греции из империалистических планов. Вот некоторые из лозунгов на баннерах организаций КПГ и КМГ: «НАТО, США – вон со своими базами!», ​​«Ни земли, ни воды убийцам народов!», «НАТО и Россия вновь делят землю, кровью народов чертят границы!», «НАТО–вон, закрытие баз, никакого участия в интервенциях», «В Греции и Турции один враг - НАТО, правительства, капитализм».

Несмотря на введенный запрет, солдаты-призывники вышли на демонстрацию с баннером «Солдаты — дети народа, им нечего делать за пределами границ своей страны. Такая позиция солдат вызвала бурные аплодисменты демонстрантов.

 Лозунг на баннере студенческих профсоюзов Афин «Мы чтим ноябрь, ведя борьбу за учебу и жизнь с соблюдением современных прав» свидетельствовал о том, что живой посыл восстания находит выражение в их борьбе, в том, что вчерашняя борьба и уроки этой борьбы освещают сегодняшнюю борьбу.

В демонстрации также приняли участие рабочие профсоюзы, Греческий комитет за мир и разоружение (ЕЕДИЕ). По всей стране прошли десятки антиимпериалистических демонстраций, а в Салониках демонстранты прошли у здания американского консульства.

Посыл  восстания студентов Афинского политехнического института остается актуальным, неизменным и живым

В демонстрации участвовала многочленная делегация ЦК КПГ во главе с Генсеком Димитрисом Куцумбасом, который сделал следующее заявление:

«Мероприятия и демонстрации, которые проводятся ежегодно в течение 49 лет, показывают, что посыл восстания студентов политехнического института - «Вон США и НАТО и их базы смерти», борьба в защиту доходов народа, против бедности и безработицы, за общественное и бесплатное образование и здравоохранение, против государственных репрессий, фашизма, подслушивания и слежки, т.е. против  самой диктатуры капитала – является актуальным, неизменным и живым по сей день».

Miles de personas en la manifestación frente a la embajada de EE.UU

Con una multitudinaria y combativa manifestación que llegó frente a la embajada de EE.UU, con consignas que transmitieron al pueblo el llamado a escribir con su lucha las próximas páginas de la Historia, de tomar la batuta de la lucha por reivindicaciones actuales, que aún no están satisfechas, de “Pan-Educación-Libertad”, el KKE y la KNE rindieron honor al 49o aniversario del levantamiento de los estudiantes de la Universidad Politécnica y de los Trabajadores de Atenas contra la junta fascista que contaba con el apoyo de EE.UU y la OTAN.

Personas de todos los grupos de edades, miles de trabajadores y jóvenes, padres con sus hijos pequeños, trabajadores de centros de trabajo que dieron grandes luchas y se están preparando para las próximas, participaron ayer por la tarde en los bloques de las organizaciones sectoriales y territoriales del Partido y de la KNE. Formaron una gran manifestación roja que envió un mensaje fuerte y claro: el levantamiento de la Universidad Politécnica sigue “vivo” 49 años después, en la lucha del pueblo por sus derechos, en la lucha contra los planes y las guerras imperialistas, en la lucha por el derrocamiento del sistema de pobreza y explotación.

“En el camino de la lucha incansable con el pueblo como protagonista. ¡Así se logra lo que es justo! ¡Así se escribe la Historia!” La pancarta de la Organización Partidista de Ática, en la cabeza de la macha, marcó el tono de la protesta. “El pueblo no olvida, rinde honor a los luchadores” fue la consigna que gritaron los miembros del Partido y de la KNE, rindiendo honor a los luchadores de la Universidad Politécnica y de la lucha contra la dictadura, manteniendo abierto el “frente” ideológico-político contra la dictadura del capital, contra el sistema que trae al pueblo frente a la pobreza energética, la dura realidad del deterioro de las condiciones de vida, y el rostro inhumano de la guerra imperialista.

“Ganancias para unos pocos, pobreza para los muchos; este es el poder de los capitalistas”, denunciaron los manifestantes. Frente a la brutalidad actual, envió una mensaje de optimismo militante: “Nuestro futuro no es el capitalismo, es el nuevo mundo, el socialismo”.

En un período en que la guerra todavía está en curso en el territorio de Ucrania y los antagonismos interimperialistas amenazan con llevar a una escalada y generalización del conflicto militar, la manifestación se centró en la demanda de desvinculación de Grecia de los planes imperialistas. “Fuera la OTAN, EE.UU y sus bases”, “Ni tierra, ni mar para los asesinos de los pueblos”, “la OTAN y Rusia reparten de nuevo el mundo y marcan las fronteras con la sangre de los pueblos”, “OTAN fuera, ninguna participación en las intervenciones” “En Grecia y en Turquía el enemigo es el mismo: la OTAN, los gobiernos, el capitalismo” fueron algunas de las consignas en las pancartas y los bloques de las Organizaciones del KKE y de la KNE.

“Los soldados son hijos del pueblo, no tienen nada que hacer fuera de las fronteras”, esta fue la consigna en que se unieron miles de voces y que fue escrito en la pancarta con la que manifestaron los jóvenes soldados, a pesar de la prohibición respectiva impuesta, recibiendo el aplauso caluroso para su postura.

“Rendimos honor al Noviembre, en el camino de la lucha por estudios y una vida con derechos contemporáneos”. Esta consigna en la pancarta de las Asociaciones de Estudiantes de Atenas reflejó que los mensajes vivos del levantamiento son expresados en sus reivindicaciones, que las luchas del pasado y las enseñanzas de aquella lucha iluminan las luchas de hoy.

En la manifestación participaron además sindicatos obreros, el Comité Griego por la Distensión Internacional y la Paz (EEDYE). Decenas de manifestaciones antiimperialistas tuvieron lugar en todo el país, mientras que en Tesalónica la manifestación pasó por delante del consulado de EE.UU.

Los mensajes del levantamiento de la Universidad Politécnica siguen siendo vigentes, intemporales y vivos

En la marcha participó una amplia delegación del Comité Central del KKE encabezada por el Secretario General, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, que hizo la siguiente declaración: “Los actos y las marchas 49 años después demuestran que los mensajes del levantamiento de la Universidad Politécnica como “Fuera EE.UU y la OTAN, fuera las bases de muerte”, para la protección del ingreso popular, contra la pobreza y el desempleo, por servicios de Educación y Sanidad públicos y gratuitos, contra la represión estatal, el fascismo, las interceptaciones telefónicas y las escuchas, es decir la propia dictadura del capital, siguen siendo vigentes, intemporales y vivos hasta el día de hoy”.

Tausende Menschen demonstrieren vor der US-Botschaft

Mit einer massiven und kämpferischen Demonstration, die vor der US-Botschaft ihren Abschluss fand, würdigten die KKE und die KNE den 49. Jahrestag des Aufstands der Studierenden des Polytechnikums und der ArbeiterInnen von Athen gegen die US- und NATO-unterstützte faschistische Junta. Die Demonstrierenden riefen mit ihren Losungen das Volk auf, den Kampf für die aktuellen und ungelösten Forderungen für "Brot - Bildung - Freiheit" fortzusetzen und mit seinen eigenen Kämpfen in die Geschichte einzugehen.

Menschen jeden Alters, Eltern mit kleinen Kindern, tausende Werktätige, auch aus Betrieben, die in letzter Zeit große Arbeitskämpfe geführt haben und sich auf die nächsten vorbereiten, formierten gestern Nachmittag die Demoblöcke der Betriebs- und Gebietsorganisationen der Partei und der KNE. Sie bildeten einen großen roten Demonstrationszug, der eine starke und klare Botschaft vermittelte: Der Aufstand des Polytechnikums lebt 49 Jahre später im Kampf des Volkes für seine Rechte, gegen imperialistische Pläne und Kriege, für den Sturz des Systems der Armut und Ausbeutung weiter.

"Auf dem Weg des unnachgiebigen Kampfes mit dem Volk an der Spitze. So wird Recht errungen, so wird Geschichte geschrieben!" Das Transparent der Parteiorganisation von Attika, die an der Spitze des Demonstrationszuges stand, gab den Ton an. "Das Volk vergisst nicht und würdigt die Kämpfer" riefen die KKE- und KNE-Mitglieder. Die Demonstrierenden machten ihre ideologisch-politische Front gegen die Diktatur des Kapitals deutlich, gegen das System, das dem Volk Energiearmut, sich verschlechternde Lebensbedingungen und imperialistische Kriegebringt.

"Die Profite der Wenigen, die Armut der Vielen, das ist die Macht der Kapitalisten", prangerten die Demonstrierenden an. Angesichts der heutigen Barbarei sendeten sie eine Botschaft des kämpferischen Optimismus: "Unsere Zukunft ist nicht der Kapitalismus, sie ist die neue Welt, der Sozialismus“.

In einer Zeit, in der der Krieg auf dem Territorium der Ukraine weiter wütet und die Konkurrenzkämpfe der Imperialisten zu einer Eskalation und Ausweitung des militärischen Konflikts zu führen drohen, stand die Forderung nach einer Loslösung Griechenlands von den imperialistischen Plänen im Mittelpunkt der Demonstration. "Raus mit der NATO, den USA und ihren Stützpunkten!", "Kein Fußbreit den Mördern der Völkern", "NATO und Russland verteilen die Welt neu und ziehen die Grenzen mit dem Blut der Völker", "Raus mit der NATO, die Stützpunkte sollen weg. Keine Beteiligung an den Interventionen", "In Griechenland und der Türkei haben wir den selben Feind: die NATO, die Regierungen, den Kapitalismus", waren einige der Losungen auf den Transparenten und Blöcken der KKE- und KNE- Organisationen.

"Die Soldaten kommen aus dem Volk, außerhalb der Grenzen haben sie nichts zu suchen": Mit diesem Transparent demonstrierten junge Wehrdienstleistende, trotz eines dienstlichenBeteiligungsverbots, und wurden von den anderen Demonstrierenden mit herzlichem Beifall und Zustimmung für ihre Haltung empfangen.

"Wir würdigen den November-Aufstand und kämpfen weiter für anständige und moderne Lern- und Lebensbedingungen". Dieser Slogan, der auf dem Transparent der Athener Studierendenverbände stand, spiegelte wider, dass die lebendigen Botschaften des Aufstandes sich in ihren Forderungen wiederfinden, dass die Kämpfe von gestern und die Lehren daraus, die Kämpfe von heute prägen.

An der Demonstration nahmen auch Gewerkschaften sowie das Griechische Friedenskomitee (EEDYE) teil. Dutzende antiimperialistische Demonstrationen fanden im ganzen Land statt, während in Thessaloniki die Demonstration vor dem US-amerikanischen Konsulat vorbeizog.

Die Botschaften des Polytechnikum-Aufstands sind immer noch aktuell, immerwährend und lebendig

An der Demonstration nahm eine große Delegation des ZK der KKE unter der Leitung ihres Generalsekretärs Dimitris Koutsoumbas teil, der folgende Erklärung abgab:

"Die Veranstaltungen und Demonstrationen 49 Jahre später zeigen, dass die Botschaften des Polytechnikum-Aufstands wie "Raus mit den USA und der NATO, raus mit den Stützpunkten des Todes", für den Schutz des Volkseinkommens, gegen Armut und Arbeitslosigkeit, für öffentliche und kostenlose Bildung und Gesundheitsversorgung, gegen staatliche Repression, Faschismus und Überwachung, d.h. gegen die Diktatur des Kapitals selbst, immer noch aktuell, immerwährend und lebendig sind."

مظاهرة شعبية بالآلاف خارج السفارة الأمريكية

عِبر مظاهرة كفاحية ضخمة انتهت خارج السفارة الأمريكية، و بشعارات نقلت للشعب الدعوة لتسطير الصفحات التالية من التاريخ بنضاله، و لأخذ زمام الصراع من أجل المطالب الراهنية و الغير محققة ﻠ"الخبز - التعليم – الحرية"، كرَّم الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني و الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية الذكرى التاسعة والأربعين لانتفاضة طلاب البوليتِخنِّو وعُمَّال أثينا ضد المجلس العسكري الفاشي، الذي حظي بدعم الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي.

هذا و كان أناس من جميع الأعمار وآلاف العمال والشباب، وأهالٍ مع أطفالهم الصغار وعمال من مواقع العمل كانوا قد خاضوا معارك كبيرة و يُعدون للمعارك القادمة، قد شكَّلوا بعد ظهر أمس كتلة مظاهرة المنظمات القطاعية و الجغرافية للحزب و الشبيبة الشيوعية. حيث شكلوا مظاهرة حمراء كبيرة بعثت برسالة قوية و واضحة مفادها: إن هبَّة البوليتِخنِّو هي "حيَّة" بعد 49 انقضاء 49 عاماً عليها، و أنها تحيا في صراع الشعب من أجل حقوقه، و في النضال ضد الخطط والحروب الإمبريالية، و في الصراع من أجل إسقاط نظام الفقر والاستغلال.

«هكذا يُكتسب الحق. هكذا يُسطَّر التاريخ. على طريق النضال المثابِر مع الشعب باعتباره بطلاً له». هذا ما كُتِب على لافتة المنظمة المنطقية للحزب في محافظة أتيكي على رأس المسيرة. هذا و ردد أعضاء الحزب و الشبيبة شعاراً قائلاً: «إن الشعب لا ينسى و يكرّم المناضلين»  تكريماً لمناضلي البوليتِخنِّو والكفاح ضد الديكتاتورية، مع الإبقاء على "الجبهة" الأيديولوجية - السياسية مفتوحة ضد دكتاتورية رأس المال، و ضد النظام الذي يضع الشعب في مواجهة فقر الطاقة و الواقع القاسي لتدهور الظروف المعيشية، والوجه اللاإنساني للحرب الإمبريالية.

هذا واستنكر المتظاهرون الواقع بشعارهم :«أرباح للقلة، وفقر للكثيرين، هذه هي سلطة الرأسماليين». و بعثوا رسالة تفاؤل في مواجهة الهمجية الحالية بهتافهم: «ليست الرأسمالية مستقبلنا، بل هو العالم الجديد، عالم الاشتراكية».

و في الفترة التي تستمر ضمنها الحرب بالاحتدام على أراضي أوكرانيا وتهدد المزاحمات بين الإمبرياليين بأن تؤدي إلى تصعيد وتعميم الصراع الحربي، تواجدت في مركز المظاهرة المطالبة بفُكاك اليونان من المخططات الإمبريالية.

و كانت بعض الشعارات التي حملتها لافتات منظمات الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني و الشبيبة الشيوعية قد أفادت ﺒ: «فليخرج الناتو و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وقواعدهم من اليونان»، «لا لمنح الأرض ولا المياه لقتلة الشعوب» ، «الناتو وروسيا يعيدان اقتسام الأرض و بدماء الشعوب يرسمان الحدود» ، «فليخرج الناتو من اليونان، و لتخرج القواعد، لا لأية مشاركة في التدخلات»، «إن العدو هو نفسه في اليونان وتركيا، إنه الناتو و الحكومات و الرأسمالية».

و كان الهتاف الذي وحد آلاف الأصوات: «إن المجنَّدين هم أبناء الشعب، ما من عمل لهم خارج الحدود»  قد عبَّر عن الشعار المكتوب على اللافتة التي تظاهر بها المجندون الشباب الذين حضروا المظاهرة رغم الحظر المفروض ذي الصلة، و هم الذين قوبل موقفهم بتأييد و تصفيق حار.

و كان الشعار الذي حملته لافتة جمعيات طلاب أثينا: «إننا نكرم انتفاضة 17 تشرين اﻷول\ نوفمبر على طريق النضال من أجل دراسة و حياة مع حقوق معاصرة»، و هو الذي يعكس الرسائل الحية للهبَّة المتجلية في مطالبهم، و مفادها أن نضالات الأمس ودروس ذاك النضال تُنير نضالات اليوم.

كما و شاركت في المظاهرة نقابات عمالية واللجنة اليونانية للسلم و الركود الأمميين. و كانت قد أقيمت عشرات التظاهرات المناهضة للإمبريالية في جميع أنحاء البلاد، بينما مرَّت المظاهرة في مدينة ثِسالونيكي خارج القنصلية الأمريكية.

لا تزال رسائل البوليتِخنِّو راهنية و حيَّة على مر الزمن

شارك في المظاهرة وفد كبير للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، برئاسة أمينها العام، ذيميتريس كوتسومباس الذي أدلى بالتصريح التالي: «تُظهر الفعاليات والمسيرات بعد انقضاء  49 عاماً، أن رسائل انتفاضة  البوليتِخنِّو، مثل: "فلتخرج من اليونان الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحلف شمال الأطلسي، و قواعد الموت"، و رسائل حماية دخل الشعب ضد الفقر والبطالة، و من أجل التعليم العام والمجاني والصحة، وضد القمع الممارس من قبل الدولة، و ضد الفاشية و عمليات التنصت والمراقبة وديكتاتورية رأس المال، هي رسائل لا تزال راهنية و حيَّة في يومنا هذا».

Des milliers de personnes à la manifestation devant l'ambassade des États-Unis

            Le KKE et la KNE ont honoré le 49e anniversaire du soulèvement des étudiants de l'École Polytechnique et des travailleurs d'Athènes contre la junte fasciste, qui était soutenue par les États-Unis et l'OTAN. La marche massive et militante s'est terminée à l'ambassade des États-Unis, avec des slogans qui ont transmis au peuple l'appel à laisser leur marque dans l'histoire avec leur lutte, à prendre le relais de la lutte pour les revendications actuelles et insatisfaitespour"Pain - Éducation - Liberté". 

            Des personnes de tous âges, des milliers de travailleurs et de jeunes, des parents avec de petits enfants, des travailleurs qui ont mené de grandes batailles dans leurs lieux de travail  et se préparent pour les prochaines, ont participé hier après-midi dans les blocs des organisations des secteurs et des quartiers du KKE et de la KNE. Ils ont formé une grande manifestation rouge qui a envoyé un message fort et clair: Le caractère du soulèvement de l’École Polytechnique reste pertinent 49 ans plus tard, et se trouve dans la lutte du peuple pour ses droits, dans la lutte contre les plans et les guerres impérialistes, dans la lutte pour le renversement du système de pauvreté et d'exploitation. 

            "Sur la voie de la lutte intransigeanteavec le peuple au premier plan. C'est ainsi que notre juste causepeut être atteinte! C'est comme ça que l'histoire est écrite!" La bannière de l’Organisation du Parti d’Attique, en tête du cortège, a donné le ton de la manifestation. "Le peuple n'oublie pas, il honore les militants", était le slogan scandé par les membres du KKE et de la KNE, honorant les militants de l'École Polytechnique et de la lutte contre la dictature, continuant la lutte idéologico-politique contre la dictature du capital, contre le système qui plonge le peuple dans la pauvreté énergétique, dans la dure réalité de la détérioration des conditions de vie et le met faceà la guerre impérialiste inhumaine. 

            "Les profits de quelques-uns, la pauvreté du plus grand nombre, c'est ça le pouvoir des capitalistes", ont dénoncé les manifestants. Face à la brutalité d'aujourd'hui, ils ont envoyé un message d'optimisme militant: "Notre avenir n'est pas le capitalisme, c'est le nouveau monde, le socialisme." 

            Alors que la guerre continue de faire rage sur le territoire de l'Ukraine et que les antagonismes des impérialistes menacent de conduire à une escalade et à une généralisation du conflit militaire, la demande de désengagement de la Grèce des plans impérialistes a été au cœur de la manifestation. "Dehors l’OTAN, les États-Unis et leurs bases!", "Ni terre ni eau aux assassins des peuples", "L'OTAN et la Russie repartent la terre, avec le sang des peuples, ils tracent les frontières", "Dehors l'OTAN! - les bases doivent fermer - aucune participation aux interventions", "En Grèce et en Turquie, l'ennemi est commun, c’est l'OTAN, les gouvernements et le capitalisme", étaient quelques-uns des slogans figurant sur les bannières des organisations du KKE et de la KNE. 

            "Les soldats sont les enfants du peuple, ils ne doivent pas être envoyés en dehors des frontières". Le slogan qui a uni des milliers de voix a été écrit sur la bannière derrière laquelle les jeunes soldats ont manifesté, malgré l'interdiction qui leur était imposée, recevant des applaudissements chaleureux en approbation de leur position. 

            "Nous honorons Novembre sur le chemin de la lutte pour des études et une vie avec droits contemporains". Ce slogan, sur la bannière des associations d'étudiants d'Athènes, reflétait que les messages vivants du soulèvement trouvent leur expression dans leurs revendications, que les luttes d'hier et les leçons de cette lutte éclairent les luttes d'aujourd'hui. 

            Des syndicats de travailleurs et le Comité Grec pour la Détente et la Paix Internationales (EEDYE) ont également participé à la manifestation. Des dizaines de manifestations anti-impérialistes ont eu lieu dans tout le pays, tandis qu'à Thessalonique, la manifestation est passée devant le consulat américain.

Les messages de l’École Polytechnique sont toujours pertinents et intemporels 

            Une délégation à plusieurs membres du CC du KKE a participé à la marche, ayant à sa tête son Secrétaire Général, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, qui a fait la déclaration suivante: 

            "Les événements et les marches 49 ans plus tard montrent que les messages du soulèvement de l’École Polytechnique, tels que "dehors les États-Unis, l'OTAN et les bases de la mort!", des messages pour la protection du revenu du peuple, contre la pauvreté et le chômage, pour une éducation et des soins de santé publics et gratuits, contre la répression d'État, le fascisme, les écoutes et la surveillance, c'est-à-dire la dictature du capital lui-même, sont toujours pertinents, intemporels et vivants à ce jour".
