Dear Comrades,

The National Council of the Communist Party of India takes this opportunity to send its hearty congratulations to the Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the entire people of China on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Indeed it is matter of proud and strength for the peace-loving progressive people all over the world to join the Chinese people all over the world and share their sentiments of joy, happiness and pride that mark the anniversary of the communist nation’s founding on October 1.

President Xi Jinping’s  assertion that the People’s Republic of China, which put an end to more than 100 years of humiliation and suffering that the Chinese people had managed to stand on their feet and make great strides adds to the splendour of the anniversary celebrations. His declaration that “there’s no force that can shake the foundations of this great nation and that no force can stop the Chinese people and the Chinese nation forging ahead”, extends a beacon of hope to the toiling and suffering masses all over the world.

The National Council of the Communist Party of India is certain that the anniversary celebrations and the sharing of the spirit of internationalism on this eve will further not only strengthen the bilateral relations between CPC and CPI but also between the peoples of both the countries whose ties have a very long history.

I on behalf of the National Council of the CPI, on behalf of the progressive people of India and on my personal behalf greet and wish the CPC, its leaders and the people of China all success to make new strides in their advancement towards a stronger and more prosperous country.
