The central committee of the communist party of Pakistan with great sorrow and grief informing the fraternal parties and comrades that comrade Yousuf Rana, a member of the central committee of the CPP and head of the party ideological department passed away on the 9th of January,2025 after a short but acute illness with pneumonia.He was 80 years old.

Comrade Rana, a committed communist was a true Marxist and Leninist.He devoted his life and energies to the communist movement and communist party of Pakistan till his last breath.

The party and working class in Pakistan has lost a true fighter and a worker who devoted his life to the communist and left movement in Pakistan.

The CC of the communist party of Pakistan extends  its condolences to the family of comrade Yousuf Rana and the whole CPP members.
