THE COMMUNIST PARTY PAKISTAN STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE

AND THEIR RESISTANCE MOVEMENT AGAINST ZIONIST FASICST ISRAEL

The Communist Party of Pakistan considers that “Operation Jerusalem Flood”in Gaza, Palestine, came in response to the repeated Israeli heinous crimes against the Palestinian people, the incursions into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the expansion of settlements, projects of displacement, Judaization, ethnic cleansing, and demolition of homes, and the insistence of the fascist and racist Israeli occupation government headed by war criminal Netanyahu on the plan to annex Palestinian lands, and in rejection of For Saudi-Israeli normalisationwhere the primary motive is based on the capitalist and imperialists interests and all settlement projects that threaten the rights of the Palestinian people, namely their right to self-determination on their land, ending the Israeli occupation, and establishing their independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Communist Party of Pakistan red salutes the martyred freedom fighters of the Palestine resistance movement and stands in solidarity with the cause of Palestine people to liberate themselves from the US and Imperialists’ regional watchdog Israel, whose Zionist, fascist, and imperialist atrocities have causedthe sufferings for the people of Palestine from decades.We condemn the so-called civilisedcapitalist world and the UN, who portray themselves as the champion of human rights, but their criminal and interest-motivated silence has let Israel keep progressing with its atrocities against the Palestinian people, including illegally annexing their lands. In 2023, 172 Palestinians were martyred by Israeli Defence Forces, including men, women, and children; thousands were wounded, the most wounded had to suffer various disabilities and Palestine's infrastructure was destroyed by bombardment targeting civilian houses and residential buildings, hospitals, schools etc.

The Communist Party of Pakistan rejects the illegal occupation of expanding Zionist settlements in the Arab land. It vehemently opposes Israeli ambition of building all kinds ofmajor settlements in East Jerusalem.Much of the onus is on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose fascist apartheid policies have further exacerbated the already-establishedpolarisation.

The Communist Party of Pakistan stands in solidarity with the brave Palestinian people, who hold every right to defend their lands with all available means against the Zionist Israeli regime whose crimes against humanity arefully backed by the US and its NATO allies.

We demand the communist parties of the world initiate a joint statement condemning Zionist Israel and solidarity with the people of Palestine. We also demand to include the same in its agenda for the upcoming 23^rdIMCWP in Izmir, Turkey.
