Communiqué: A few days before the presidential elections are held, in a context marked by the abuse of power, advantageousness, the threats, provocations, anti-democratic maneuvers of all kinds and the ever deeper authoritarian drift of the Government of Nicolás Maduro, as well as the kidnapping of the electoral ticket of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), a new link in the plan of attack orchestrated from the leadership of the Government-PSUV against the PCV and its politics has been activated.

We inform the national public opinion and the International Communist Movement that two members of the Central Committee of the PCV have joined the liquidation plan executed by the leadership of the Government-PSUV to strip the Venezuelan working class of its historic referent of struggle.

Last Tuesday, July 16, Carolus Wimmer and Úrsula Aguilera, together with members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and other organizations controlled by the government leadership, gave a press conference that ran against the agreements of the XVI National Conference of the PCV and closed ranks with the anti-working class and anti-popular policies of Nicolás Maduro Moros.

As the PCV membership is aware, in May of this year, Carolus Wimmer and Úrsula Aguilera were referred to the National Commission of Discipline and Control of Cadres of the Central Committee, for ignoring decisions of the legitimate national leadership of our party and organizing actions with recognized political operators of the PSUV to undermine the image of the PCV at the international level.

Carolus Wimmer and Úrsula Aguilera marginalized themselves from party life by abandoning the spaces for debate and collective construction, specifically the work sessions of the XVI National Conference of the PCV which -after holding three phases that extended for eight months─ resolved to support the candidacy of engineer Enrique Márquez for the presidency of the Republic.

During this time, the leadership bodies of our party, such as the Regional Committee of the PCV in Caracas, the Central Committee, the Political Bureau or the National Conference itself, never received any kind of opinion or critical assessment from Carolus Wimmer or Ursula Aguilera. Their conduct contrasts with the deep and frank debate within the ranks of our organization, which finally set as a first order objective to promote a process of regrouping of the authentically democratic forces to recover the full validity of the Constitution and the rule of law in the country, at the same time that we confronted the plan of political-electoral isolation that the reactionary leadership of the Government-PSUV tried to impose on us.

The press conference given by Wimmer and Aguilera repeats the scheme that the PSUV has been carrying out for more than a year to make the public opinion believe that within the PCV there is acceptance of its neoliberal package: The use of spaces and media under government control; the shameless presence of members of the PSUV and other judicially intervened political organizations, who crudely pass themselves off as communist militants and, most dangerous of all, the defense of a regime that has made a pact with the business leaders while destroying the living conditions of the working family.

All the facts referred to will be considered by the National Commission of Discipline and Control of Cadres of the Central Committee of the PCV, to determine if they constitute – based on the Marxist-Leninist political practice and what is established in the Statutes of the PCV – an act of treason to the values and principles that govern the organic life of those of us who are militants of the PCV, by conspiring and openly collaborating with those who are carrying out a plan to liquidate the historic Communist Party of Venezuela.

The statements of Carolus Wimmer and Ursula Aguilera contradict in their essence the political line approved by the XVI National Congress of the PCV (Nov. 2022), by qualifying the catastrophe suffered by the Venezuelan people as a “socialist” process, when the reality is that the leadership led by Nicolas Maduro persecutes, kidnaps, imprisons and even tortures workers.

In spite of this new modality adopted by the plan of aggression, we, the members of the PCV, hold our banners of struggle high and proudly. We ratify our commitment to the interests of the Venezuelan working class and the broad popular majorities, as well as to the defense of national sovereignty against all forms of imperialist domination.

We trust that this dark period the country is going through will be overcome not only with the massive participation of the people in the July 28 elections, but also with the organized struggle for the recovery of the political, social and labor rights that this nefarious government has taken away from us.

In the next few days, the Central Committee of the PCV will meet to consider the corresponding disciplinary measures.

ALERTA: Continúa el plan de ataque contra el Partido Comunista de Venezuela

Comunicado.- A pocos días de celebrarse las elecciones presidenciales, en un contexto marcado por el abuso de poder, el ventajismo, las amenazas, provocaciones, maniobras antidemocráticas de todo tipo y la cada vez más profunda deriva autoritaria del Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro, así como el secuestro de la tarjeta electoral del Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), se ha activado un nuevo eslabón en el plan de ataque orquestado desde la cúpula del Gobierno-PSUV contra el PCV y su política.

Informamos a la opinión pública nacional y al Movimiento Comunista Internacional que dos miembros del Comité Central del PCV se han unido al plan de liquidación que ejecuta la cúpula del Gobierno-PSUV para despojar a la clase trabajadora venezolana de su histórico referente de lucha.

El pasado martes 16 de julio, Carolus Wimmer y Úrsula Aguilera, junto a militantes del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) y de otras organizaciones controladas por la cúpula gubernamental, dieron una rueda de prensa para desconocer los acuerdos de la XVI Conferencia Nacional del PCV y cerrar filas con la política antiobrera y antipopular de Nicolás Maduro Moros.

Tal y como es del conocimiento de la militancia del PCV, en mayo del presente año, Carolus Wimmer y Úrsula Aguilera fueron remitidos a la Comisión Nacional de Disciplina y Control de Cuadros del Comité Central, por desconocer decisiones de la legítima dirección nacional de nuestro partido y organizar acciones con reconocidos operadores políticos del PSUV para socavar la imagen del PCV a nivel internacional.

Carolus Wimmer y Úrsula Aguilera se marginaron de la vida partidaria al abandonar los espacios de debate y construcción colectiva, específicamente las sesiones de trabajo de la XVI Conferencia Nacional del PCV que ─tras celebrar tres fases que se extendieron por ocho meses─ resolvió apoyar la candidatura del ingeniero Enrique Márquez a la Presidencia de la República.

Durante este tiempo, los organismos de dirección de nuestro partido, como lo son el Comité Regional del PCV en Caracas, el Comité Central, el Buró Político o la propia Conferencia Nacional, jamás recibieron algún tipo de opinión o valoración crítica por parte de Carolus Wimmer o Úrsula Aguilera. Su conducta contrasta con el profundo y franco debate dado en las filas de nuestra organización que finalmente se trazó como un objetivo de primer orden impulsar un proceso de reagrupamiento de las fuerzas auténticamente democráticas para recuperar la plena vigencia de la Constitución y el estado de derecho en el país, a la vez que enfrentamos el plan de aislamiento político-electoral que intentó imponernos la cúpula reaccionaria del Gobierno-PSUV.

La rueda de prensa dada por Wimmer y Aguilera repite el esquema que desde hace más de un año ejecuta el PSUV para hacer creer a la opinión pública que en el seno del PCV hay aceptación a su paquetazo neoliberal: El uso de espacios y de medios de comunicación bajo control gubernamental; la descarada presencia de militantes del PSUV y de otras organizaciones políticas intervenidas judicialmente que se hacen pasar burdamente por militantes comunistas y, lo más peligroso del caso, la defensa de un régimen que ha pactado con las cúpulas empresariales mientras destruye las condiciones de vida de la familia trabajadora.

Todos los hechos referidos serán considerados por la Comisión Nacional de Disciplina y Control de Cuadros del Comité Central del PCV, para determinar si los mismos configuran -con base en la práctica política marxista-leninista y lo establecido en los Estatutos del PCV- un hecho de traición a los valores y principios que rigen la vida orgánica de quienes militamos en el PCV, al conspirar y colaborar abiertamente con aquellos que ejecutan un plan para liquidar al histórico Partido Comunista de Venezuela.

Las declaraciones de Carolus Wimmer y Úrsula Aguilera, contradicen en su esencia la línea política aprobada por el XVI Congreso Nacional del PCV (Nov. 2022), al calificar la catástrofe que sufre el pueblo venezolano como un proceso «socialista», cuando la realidad es que la cúpula que dirige Nicolás Maduro persigue, secuestra, encarcela y hasta tortura trabajadores.

A pesar de esta nueva modalidad que adopta el plan de agresión, las y los militantes del PCV mantenemos en alto y con orgullo nuestras banderas de lucha. Ratificamos nuestro compromiso con los intereses de la clase trabajadora venezolana y las amplias mayorías populares, así como con la defensa de la soberanía nacional frente a todas las formas de dominación imperialista.

Confiamos que este oscuro trance que atraviesa el país será superado no sólo con la masiva participación del pueblo en las elecciones del 28 de julio, sino con la lucha organizada por la recuperación de los derechos políticos, sociales y laborales que este nefasto Gobierno nos ha arrebatado.

En los próximos días, el Comité Central del PCV sesionará para tomar las medidas disciplinarias correspondientes.
