Joint Statement

Freedom for Palestinian political prisoners and for the internationalist fighters: Illich Ramírez Sánchez and George Ibrahim Abdallah!

The undersigned Communist and Workers Parties and anti-imperialist organizations, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners (April 17), express our solidarity with all Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails, as well as with the internationalist fighters for the Palestinian cause: Illich Ramírez Sánchez and George Ibrahim Abdallah. 

In this sense, we reiterate our demand for the respect of human rights and the immediate release of all Palestinians illegally detained for fighting against the policy of extermination and occupation of the Zionist regime. 

Likewise, we raise our voice for the freedom of the internationalist fighters: 

* George Ibrahim Abdallah, of Lebanese nationality, a Lebanese resistance militant and activist for the Palestinian cause, who was arrested in Lyon, France, in 1984 and sentenced without evidence to life imprisonment in 1987. In 2003 the justice system authorized his release, but the pressures of Zionism and US imperialism have kept him kidnapped for more than 39 years in prisons in France. 

* Illich Ramírez Sánchez, of Venezuelan nationality, member of the Communist Youth of Venezuela (JCV) in his youth, who joined the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine while studying at the Patricio Lumumba University, Moscow.  He was kidnapped in 1994 in Sudan and sentenced in 1997 in Paris. He has been held for almost 29 years in French prisons and is denied his legitimate right to be repatriated to his country of origin, as allowed by international treaties such as the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Person, signed in Strasbourg, France on 21 March 1983.

We take this opportunity to reiterate our condemnation of the genocidal policy of the Zionist State of Israel against the Palestinian people, as well as our firm solidarity with the Palestinian cause and their legitimate struggle against the Zionist occupation, the right to self-determination and the return of Palestinian refugees to their lands.

Свободу палестинским политзаключенным и борцам-интернационалистам: Ильичу Рамиресу Санчесу и Джорджу Ибрагиму Абдалле!

Нижеподписавшиеся коммунистические и рабочие партии и антиимпериалистические организации по случаю Международного дня солидарности с политическими заключенными (17 апреля) выражаем свою солидарность со всеми палестинскими политическими заключенными в израильских тюрьмах, а также с борцами-интернационалистами за дело Палестины: Ильичем Рамиресом Санчесом и Джорджем Ибрагимом Абдаллой. 

В этом смысле мы вновь требуем соблюдения прав человека и немедленного освобождения всех палестинцев, незаконно задержанных за борьбу против истребительной и оккупационной политики сионистского режима.

Мы также хотим поднять свой голос за свободу борцов-интернационалистов: 

* Джорджа Ибрагима Абдаллу, ливанца по национальности, борца ливанского сопротивления и активиста палестинского процесса, который был арестован в Лионе, Франция, в 1984 году и приговорен без доказательств к пожизненному заключению в 1987 году. В 2003 году правосудие санкционировало его освобождение, но под давлением сионизма и империализма США он остается заключенным более 39 лет в тюрьмах Франции. 

* Ильич Рамирес Санчес, гражданин Венесуэлы, в молодости борец Коммунистической молодежи Венесуэлы (КМВ), который присоединился к Народному фронту освобождения Палестины во время учебы в Московском университете имени Патрисио Лумумбы.  Он был похищен в 1994 году в Судане и осужден в 1997 году в Париже. Он содержится во французских тюрьмах уже почти 29 лет, и ему отказано в законном праве быть переведенным в страну происхождения, как это предусмотрено международными договорами, например, Конвенция о передаче осужденных лиц, подписанная в Страсбурге, Франция, 21/03/1983.

Мы пользуемся этой возможностью, чтобы еще раз заявить о нашем осуждении геноцидной политики сионистского государства Израиль против палестинского народа, а также о нашей твердой солидарности с палестинским делом и законной борьбой против сионистской оккупации, за право на самоопределение и возвращение палестинских беженцев на свои земли.

¡Libertad para los Presos Políticos Palestinos y para los combatientes internacionalistas: Illich Ramirez Sánchez y George Ibrahim Abdallah!

Los Partidos Comunistas y Obreros, y organizaciones antiimperialistas abajo firmantes, en ocasión del  Día Internacional de Solidaridad con los prisioneros políticos (17 de abril), expresamos nuestra solidaridad con todas y todos los presos políticos palestinos en cárceles israelíes, así como con los luchadores internacionalistas por la causa palestina; Illich Ramírez Sánchez  y Georges Ibrahim Abdallah. 

En este sentido, reiteramos nuestra exigencia de respeto  a los derechos humanos y de inmediata liberación para todos los palestinos ilegalmente detenidos  por luchar contra la política de exterminio y ocupación del régimen sionista.

Así mismo, queremos levantar nuestra voz por la libertad de los luchadores internacionalistas: 

*  George Ibrahim Abdallah, de nacionalidad libanesa, militante de la resistencia libanesa, y activista por la causa palestina, quien fue arrestado en Lyon, Francia en 1984 y condenado sin pruebas a cadena perpetua en 1987. En 2003 la justicia autoriza su liberación, pero  las presiones del sionismo y el imperialismo estadounidense lo mantienen secuestrado por más de 39 años  en cárceles de Francia. 

*  Illich Ramírez Sánchez, de nacionalidad venezolana, militante de la Juventud Comunista de Venezuela (JCV) en su juventud, y quien ingresó al Frente Popular por la Liberación de Palestina mientras cursaba estudios en la Universidad Patricio Lumumba, Moscú.  Fue secuestrado en 1994 en Sudán y condenado en 1997 en París. Tiene casi 29 años secuestrado en cárceles de Francia y se le niega su legítimo derecho a ser trasladado a su país de orígen, tal como lo permiten los tratados internacionales, como el Convenio sobre Traslado de Personas Condenadas, suscrito en Estrasburgo, Francia, el 21/03/1983.

Aprovechamos para reiterar  nuestra condena a la política genocida del Estado sionista de Israel contra el pueblo palestino, así como nuestra firme solidaridad con la causa Palestina y la legítima lucha contra la ocupación sionista, el derecho a la autodeterminación y el regreso de los refugiados palestinos a sus tierras.

Liberté pour les prisonniers politiques palestiniens et pour les combattants internationalistes : Illich Ramirez Sanchez et George Ibrahim Abdallah!

Les partis communistes et ouvriers et les organisations anti-impérialistes soussignés, à l'occasion de la Journée internationale de solidarité avec les prisonniers politiques (17 avril), expriment leur solidarité avec tous les prisonniers politiques palestiniens dans les prisons israéliennes, ainsi qu'avec les combattants internationalistes de la cause palestinienne : Illich Ramirez Sanchez et George Ibrahim Abdallah. 

Nous réitérons notre demande de respect des droits de l'homme et de libération immédiate de tous les Palestiniens détenus illégalement pour avoir lutté contre la politique d'extermination et d'occupation du régime sioniste.

Nous voulons également élever notre voix pour la liberté des combattants internationalistes : 

* Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, de nationalité libanaise, militant de la résistance libanaise et de la cause palestinienne, arrêté à Lyon en 1984 et condamné sans preuve à la prison à vie en 1987. En 2003, la justice a autorisé sa libération, mais les pressions du sionisme et de l'impérialisme américain l'ont maintenu séquestré pendant plus de 39 ans dans des prisons en France. 

* Illich Ramirez Sanchez, de nationalité vénézuélienne, militant de la Jeunesse communiste du Venezuela (JCV) dans sa jeunesse, qui a rejoint le Front populaire de libération de la Palestine alors qu'il étudiait à l'université Patricio Lumumba de Moscou.  Il a été enlevé en 1994 au Soudan et condamné en 1997 à Paris. Il est détenu depuis près de 29 ans dans les prisons françaises et se voit refuser son droit légitime à être transféré dans son pays d'origine, comme le permettent les traités internationaux, tels que la Convention sur le transfèrement des personnes condamnées, signée à Strasbourg, France, le 21/03/1983.

Nous saisissons cette occasion pour réitérer notre condamnation de la politique génocidaire de l'Etat sioniste d'Israël à l'encontre du peuple palestinien, ainsi que notre ferme solidarité avec la cause palestinienne et la lutte légitime contre l'occupation sioniste, le droit à l'autodétermination et le retour des réfugiés palestiniens sur leurs terres.
