PCV: Government gives good news to the capitalists while it hits the working people

Caracas, 12-12-2022.- "The Government gives good news to the capitalists while it viciously hits the working people", this is how Pedro Eusse, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), referred to the recent information on financial matters given by the Venezuelan government while "a terrible devaluation of the national currency" is advancing. 

A few days ago, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez informed the country that "in spite of the criminal blockade" the financial sector had increased its deposits by 210%. Rodríguez also assured in her Twitter account that the Government will take "actions in defense of the exchange market and the official rate, disturbed by the speculative criminal dollar", but did not give details on how this will be done. 

This devaluation of the Bolívar "is the result of the general capitalist crisis and of bourgeois liberal policies that are creating conditions so that the capitalists can have maximum profit at the lowest possible cost, destroying labor rights and above all the salary", said Eusse during a press conference. 

The communist leader informed that "an elite tripartite agreement is underway, sponsored by the International Labor Organization (ILO), in which Fedecámaras, the employers' union leaders and this neo-liberal government are agreeing to legalize the retroactive stripping of social benefits". 

"This is being promoted by the former president of Fedecámaras, Jorge Roig, with his so-called Labor Emergency Law, with which they aspire that an important part of the remunerations will not be taken into account for the calculation of social benefits and other concepts established in the legislation", he added. 

Eusse recalled that this comes along with the imposition of employer dispositions "where workers are forced to over-exploitation conditions with working hours in violation of the law that can reach between 12 and 14 hours a day; working hours where there is no respect for safety and health conditions at work, there are no collective bargaining agreements and there is no freedom of trade unions". 

"A model of labor relations without rights is being imposed in Venezuela. This is being imposed by the employers' leaderships of private capital and the Government with its anti-worker and anti-polar policy", he pointed out.

II Plenum of the PCV Central Committee 

The PCV successfully held the II Plenum of the Central Committee elected a little more than a month ago by the 16th National Congress. 

Eusse informed that the secretariats and national work commissions of the Party were designated "to make the exercise of the collective leadership more efficient" and "in order to advance in the defense of the interests of the Venezuelan working class and to confront, in better conditions, the policies of big capital that are destroying the rights of the workers of our country". 

"We have made an evaluation of how the crisis of capitalism is advancing and deepening and how in Venezuela, the Government is advancing in a policy at the service of the interests of big capital", he said. 

"This plenary session of the Central Committee has reaffirmed the commitment of our party with the impulse of a process of the broadest unity of action of the Venezuelan working class and in that sense we are in solidarity with the struggles that are developing against layoffs, against illegal suspensions, the destruction of wages, for the recovery of the collective bargaining agreements, against the Onapre instructions and for the right to strike", he added.

Regarding the latter, the Political Bureau of the PCV warned of anonymous calls for an alleged national strike for December 15. 

"We want to warn about anonymous calls for actions not decided by the union movement", said Eusse after warning that it could be "a trap, a provocation against the processes of unity and struggle that we have been developing in various organizations".

Worker Johana Gonzalez remains illegally imprisoned 

The PCV joins the call of the Committee of Relatives and Friends of Imprisoned Workers for this Wednesday, December 14 in front of the Ministry of Penitentiary Affairs. 

"The worker Johana Gonzalez remains kidnapped despite the fact that she has had a release order for almost eight months", explained Eusse. 

"We also demand that the Ministry carry out psycho-social examinations that will allow some accused and even sentenced persons to enjoy less severe measures, as is the case of Aryenis Torrealba and Alfredo Chirinos, unjustly sentenced to imprisonment at their homes", he detailed.

Small-scale miners protest in Bolivar 

The PCV has received complaints from the state of Bolivar indicating that the National Government has imposed some points of reception and processing of material coming from artisanal mining and is forcing small miners to deliver up to 60% of what they produce. 

"All this is happening in the midst of a situation of control by mafias of all kinds, criminal and governmental. Mining workers end up being victims of the tyranny of these mafias and also of the Government with these points where small miners are being plundered," said Eusse.

Solidarity with the Peruvian people 

"We express our solidarity with the Peruvian people who have been victims of non-democratic exits decided by oligarchic elites", declared the PCV before the coup d'état registered against President Pedro Castilo. 

However, the Red Rooster Party clarified that "this has to do with the fact that the government presided over by Pedro Castillo was not consistent with its program which was supposedly at the service of the interests of the people". 

"We are seeing in Peru the same as in other countries of the region where the inconsistencies of progressive reformism lead the most reactionary factors to go on the offensive and carry out coups against the interests of the people," Eusse pointed out.

Greetings to the new authorities of the Colombian Communist Party. 

"We send our embrace to the Colombian Communist Party which has just held its 23rd National Congress in a successful manner," Eusse said. 

"We are pleased with the fact that Comrade Jaime Caycedo has been elected President and Comrade Claudia Florez has been appointed as the new General Secretary of the Central Committee of the PCC," he concluded.

PCV: El Gobierno le da buenas noticias a los capitalistas mientras golpea al pueblo trabajador

Caracas, 12-12-2022 (Redacción TP).- “El Gobierno le da buenas noticias a los capitalistas mientras que golpea con saña al pueblo trabajador”, así se refirió Pedro Eusse, miembro del Buró Político del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), a las recientes informaciones en materia financiera que ha dado el Ejecutivo venezolano mientras avanza “una terrible devaluación de la moneda nacional”.

Hace unos días, la vicepresidenta Delcy Rodríguez informó al país que “a pesar del criminal bloqueo” el sector financiero había incrementado sus depósitos en 210%. Rodríguez también aseguró en su cuenta en Twitter que el Gobierno tomará “acciones en defensa del mercado cambiario y la tasa oficial, perturbados por el dólar criminal especulativo”, pero no dio detalles de cómo lo realizarán.

Esta devaluación del Bolívar “es resultado de la crisis general capitalista y de políticas liberales burguesas que están creando condiciones para que los capitalistas puedan tener máxima ganancia al menor costo posible, destruyendo derechos laborales y sobre todo el salario”, dijo Eusse durante una rueda de prensa.

El dirigente comunista informó que “está en curso un acuerdo tripartito elitesco, auspiciado por la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT), en el que Fedecámaras, cúpulas sindicales patronales y este Gobierno neoliberal se están poniendo de acuerdo para legalizar el despojo de las prestaciones sociales con retroactividad”.

“Eso lo promueve el expresidente de Fedecámaras, Jorge Roig, con su pretendida Ley de emergencia laboral, con la que aspiran a que una parte importante de las remuneraciones no sean tomadas en cuenta para el cálculo de las prestaciones sociales y otros conceptos establecidos en la legislación”, agregó.

Eusse recordó que esto viene a la par de la imposición de disposiciones patronales “donde los trabajadores se ven obligados a condiciones de sobre-explotación con jornadas violatorias de la ley que pueden alcanzar entre 12 y14 horas diarias; jornadas donde no hay respecto a las condiciones de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, no hay convenciones colectivas y no hay libertad sindical”.

“Se está imponiendo un modelo de relaciones laborales sin derechos en Venezuela. Esto lo imponen las cúpulas patronales del capital privado y el Gobierno con su política antiobrera y antipoular”, puntualizó.

II Pleno del Comité Central del PCV

El PCV realizó exitosamente el II Pleno del Comité Central electo hace poco más de un mes por el 16 Congreso Nacional.

Eusse informó que se designaron las secretarías y comisiones nacionales de trabajo del Partido “para hacer eficiente el ejercicio de la dirección colectiva” y “en función de avanzar en la defensa de los intereses de la clase obrera venezolana y confrontar, en mejores condiciones, las políticas del gran capital que están destruyendo los derechos de las y los trabajadores de nuestro país”.

“Hemos hecho una evaluación de cómo está avanzando y profundizándose la crisis del capitalismo y cómo en Venezuela, el Gobierno avanza en una política al servicios de los intereses del gran capital”, dijo.

“Este pleno del Comité Central ha reafirmado el compromiso de nuestro partido con el impulso de un proceso de la más amplia unidad de acción de la clase trabajadora venezolana y en ese sentido somos solidarios con las luchas que se están desarrollando contra los despidos, contra las suspensiones ilegales, la destrucción del salario, por la recuperación de las convenciones colectivas de trabajo, contra el instructivo Onapre y por el derecho a huelga”, agregó.

Sobre esto último, el Buró Político del PCV alertó de llamados anónimos a un supuesto paro nacional para ester 15 de diciembre.

“Queremos alertar de llamados anónimos a acciones no decididas por el movimiento sindical”, dijo Eusse tras advertir que podría tratarse “de una trampa, de una provocación contra los procesos de unidad y de lucha que venimos desarrollando diversas organizaciones”.

Trabajadora Johana González permanece ilegalmente presa

El PCV se une a la convocatoria del Comité de Familiares y Amigos de los Trabajadores Presos para este miércoles 14 de diciembre frente al Ministerio de Asuntos Penitenciarios.

“La trabajadora Johana González permanece secuestrada en el Inof a pesar de que cuenta con una boleta de excarcelación desde hace casi ocho meses”, explicó Eusse.

“Además exigimos al Ministerio la realización de exámenes psico-sociales que permitirán que algunos procesados e incluso sentenciados puedan gozar de medidas menos gravosas, como es el caso de Aryenis Torrealba y Alfredo Chirinos, injustamente condenados a prisión en su domicilio”, detalló.

Pequeños mineros protestan en Bolívar

El PCV ha recibido denuncias provenientes del estado Bolívar donde se señala que el Gobierno Nacional ha impuesto unos puntos de recepción y procesamiento de material proveniente de la minería artesanal y está obligando a los pequeños mineros a entregar hasta 60% de lo que producen.

“Todo eso sucede en medio de una situación de control de mafias de todo tipo, delincuenciales y gubernamentales. Los trabajadores de la minería terminan siendo víctimas de la tiranía de estas mafias y también del Gobierno con estos puntos en donde se están esquilmando a los pequeños mineros”, dijo Eusse.

Solidaridad con el pueblo peruano

“Expresamos nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo peruano que ha sido víctima de salidas no democráticas decididas por élites oligárquicas”, declaró el PCV ante el golpe de Estado registrado contra el presidente Pedro Castilo.

No obstante, el Partido del Gallo Rojo aclaró que “esto tiene que ver con que el gobierno presidido por Pedro Castillo no fue consecuente con su programa que supuestamente estaba al servicio de los intereses del pueblo”.

“Estamos viendo en Perú lo mismo que en otros países de la región donde las inconsecuencias del reformismo progresista llevan a que los factores más reaccionarios pasen a la ofensiva y den golpes contra los intereses del pueblo”, señaló Eusse.

Saludo a las nuevas autoridades del Partido Comunista Colombiano

“Enviamos nuestro abrazo al Partido Comunista Colombiano que acaba de realizar su 23° Congreso Nacional de manera exitosa”, dijo Eusse.

“Nos satisface el hecho de que haya sido electo Presidente el camarada Jaime Caycedo y se haya designado a la camarada Claudia Florez como nueva Secretaria General del Comité Central del PCC”, finalizó.
