El Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV) expresa sus sentidas condolencias a los familiares de las víctimas y su plena solidaridad a los miles de heridos y personas afectadas por la explosión ocurrida en el puerto de Beirut, que dejó un saldo de pérdidas humanas y materiales aún no determinado.

Igualmente, nos solidarizamos con nuestros camaradas del Partido Comunista Libanés que han hecho un llamado al pueblo libanés y, en especial a su militancia comunista, a organizarse para brindar apoyo a las miles de familias que han quedado damnificadas por esta terrible tragedia y a participar como voluntarios en acciones de asistencia social en medio de un peligroso repunte de la pandemia de Covid-19 en ese país.

Respaldamos la solicitud del Partido Comunista Libanés al Gobierno del Líbano, de realizar una investigación rápida y transparente para determinar la verdad de lo sucedido y establecer las responsabilidades de los causantes de esta catástrofe que hoy enluta a toda la comunidad internacional.

Apoyamos también la declaratoria del Partido Comunista Libanés de este miércoles 5 de agosto de 2020, como un día de solidaridad humanitaria y social con las personas perjudicadas y afectadas por esta terrible tragedia.

Seguros estamos del coraje y la fortaleza del pueblo libanés para superar este difícil momento con valentía y dignidad.

The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and its full solidarity with the thousands of wounded and affected people by the explosion that occurred in the port of Beirut, which left a balance of human and material losses still undetermined.

Likewise, we stand in solidarity with our comrades from the Lebanese Communist Party who have called on the Lebanese people and, especially their communist militancy, to organize to provide support to the thousands of families who have been affected by this terrible tragedy and to participate as volunteers in social assistance actions amid a dangerous rebound of the Covid-19 pandemic in that country.

We support the request of the Lebanese Communist Party to the Government of Lebanon, to carry out a rapid and transparent investigation to determine the truth of what happened and establish the responsibilities of the causes of this catastrophe that today mourns the entire international community.

We also support the declaration of the Lebanese Communist Party on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, as a day of humanitarian and social solidarity with the people affected and affected by this terrible tragedy.

We are sure of the courage and strength of the Lebanese people to overcome this difficult moment with courage and dignity.
