To the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece

Dear comrades!

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation expresses its solidarity and support to the Communist Party of Greece and the Communist Youth Organization and sharply condemns actions violence undertaken by the police against the participants of the demonstration dated 6 April of this year.

The CPRF considers as totally unacceptable and shameful the detention along with serious physical abuse of peaceful KKE demonstrators coming up with patriotic slogans against country’s involvement in NATO plans for a full-scale war with Russia on the territory of Ukraine.

 We demand an immediate end of the prosecution of protesters detained along with  removal of all unsubstantiated charges against them.

Shame on Greece’s ruling authority, trampling all democratic rights and freedoms of the people!

Дорогие товарищи!

Центральный комитет Коммунистической партии Российской Федерации выражает свою солидарность и поддержку КПГ и КМГ и категорически осуждает действия полиции применившей насилие против  демонстрантов 6 апреля сего года.

КПРФ считает совершенно недопустимой и позорной ситуацию с задержанием и причинением серьёзных телесных повреждений участникам мирной демонстрации КПГ, выступавшим с патриотическими лозунгами против вовлечения страны в планы НАТО по полномасштабной войне с Россией на территории Украины.

Мы требуем немедленного прекращения судебного преследования задержанных участников протестной акции и снятия с них всех необоснованных обвинений!

Позор правящей власти Греции, попирающей все демократические права и свободы народа!
