Dear Comrades,
On behalf of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party, we strongly condemn the recent vicious onslaught by the Greek government against the popular movement, trade unions and the Communist Party of Greece. While calling for an immediate halt to these repressive measures, abolishing all anti-labour legislations and the release of all detained activists, we voice our solidarity with the Greek Communists and progressive forces and their just struggle in defence of democratic rights and freedoms of the Greek people.
Finally, we convey our warmest greetings on the 102nd anniversary of your fraternal party.
