Letter from the Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party to Communist, Workers, and Progressive Parties Regarding the Recent Zionist Attacks on Lebanon

While the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continues, along with its brutal attacks on the West Bank and several countries in the region, the occupation is targeting Lebanon, particularly the south, with repeated daily assaults. These attacks occur under the comprehensive cover of imperialist governments, led by the United States of America, resulting since October 7 to this day in the documented deaths of more than 43,000 martyrs in Gaza and over 700 martyrs from our country, Lebanon.

In this context, the recent escalation in Lebanon includes the targeting of thousands of pager devices on September 17, followed by wireless radio devices on September 18. This led to the death of 32 martyrs and about 3,000 injured after these devices exploded in the hands of their carriers, in safe homes, and institutions. This was a described terrorist attack that targeted users of communication devices, including civilians, resistance fighters, and workers in health and social institutions, after these devices were booby-trapped with explosives by Mossad agents before being imported into Lebanon.

These terrorist attacks aim to intimidate the Lebanese people and force them to submit to the conditions of the Zionist enemy and its backer, the United States, preventing Lebanese national forces from supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza. They also seek to tighten security control over the entire region, cement the influence of imperialist powers over oil resources and trade routes, and maintain Israel's qualitative military and security superiority, as Israel serves a crucial role in this broader project.

International solidarity with the Lebanese people and their right to resist the occupation is required today more than ever, as is the condemnation of Israeli aggression on its territories, and the continuation of the solidarity campaign with the Palestinian people to stop the genocidal war against them.

The Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party counts on the support of communist, workers, and progressive parties for its just cause and their readiness to act in solidarity with Lebanon, Palestine, and the peoples of the region. It calls on these parties to raise their voices in their countries, in their statements, movements, and especially in political and popular actions in front of Israeli and U.S. embassies, as well as in national and regional parliaments, and various international institutions. They are also called upon to provide aid to health and social organizations to support the resilience of the Lebanese people.

- For the immediate cessation of the genocidal war in Gaza and the aggression on Lebanon and other countries in the region.

- For the strengthening of international solidarity between peoples.

- For the confrontation of imperialist and Zionist wars and aggressions.

Estosataquesocurren bajo la cobertura total de losgobiernosimperialistas, lideradosporlosEstados Unidos de América, lo que ha resultadodesdeel 7 de octubre hasta hoy en la muertedocumentada de más de 43,000 mártiresen Gaza y más de 700 mártires de nuestropaís, Líbano.

En estecontexto, la recienteescaladaenLíbanoincluyeelataque a miles de dispositivos de buscapersonasel 17 de septiembre, seguidopordispositivos de radio inalámbricosel 18 de septiembre. Esto provocó la muerte de 32 mártires y alrededor de 3,000 heridosdespués de que estosdispositivosexplotaranen las manos de sus portadores, enhogaresseguros e instituciones. La solidaridadinternacional con el pueblo libanés y suderecho a resistir la ocupación es requerida hoy más que nunca, al igual que la condena de la agresiónisraelíen sus territorios, y la continuación de la campaña de solidaridad con el pueblo palestino para detener la guerragenocida contra ellos.

رسالة من المكتب السياسي للحزب الشيوعي اللبناني إلى الأحزاب والقوى الشيوعية والعمالية والتقدميةحول الاعتداءات الصهيونية الأخيرةعلى لبنان

فيما تستمر حرب الإبادة الجماعية التي يشنّها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة، واعتداءاته الوحشية على الضفة الغربية وعدد من دول المنطقة، يقوم الاحتلال باستهداف لبنان عامةً والجنوب خاصةً باعتداءات يومية متكررة، تحت تغطية شاملة من حكومات الدول الامبريالية، بقيادة الولايات المتحدة الاميركية، والتي أدت منذ 7 أوكتوبر حتى اليوم إلى سقوط ما يزيد على 43,000 شهيد موثق في غزّة وأكثر من 700 شهيداً من أبناء بلدنا لبنان.

وفي هذا السياق، يأتي التصعيد الأخير في لبنان باستهداف آلاف أجهزة البايجر في 17 أيلول ومن ثمّ أجهزة الراديو اللاسلكيّة في 18 أيلول، والذي سقط نتيجته 32 شهيد وحوالي 3000 جريح بعد أن انفجرت بين أيدي حامليها وفي المنازل الآمنة والمؤسسات، كاعتداء إرهابي موصوف استهدف مستخدمي وسائل الاتصال ومنهم مدنيون ومقاومون وعاملون في مؤسسات صحيّة واجتماعية، بعد أن جرى تفخيخها بمواد متفجرة من قبل عملاء الموساد قبيل استيرادها إلى لبنان.

إن هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية تهدف إلى ترهيب اللبنانيين وإخضاعهم لشروط العدو الصهيوني وخلفه الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، ومنع القوى الوطنية اللبنانية عن مساندة الشعب الفلسطيني في غزّة، وإحكام سيطرته الأمنيّة على المنطقة برمّتها، وتكريس نفوذ القوى الامبريالية وسيطرتها على منابع النفط وطرق التجارة والحفاظ على التفوق العسكري والأمني النوعي لإسرائيل التي تؤدي وظيفة عضوية في خدمة هذا المشروع.

إنّ التضامن الأممي مع الشعب اللبناني وحقه في مقاومة الاحتلال مطلوب اليوم أكثر من أي وقت مضى، وكذلك إدانة العدوان الإسرائيلي على أراضيه، والاستمرار في حملة التضامن المستمرّة مع الشعب الفلسطيني لوقف حرب الإبادة الجماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني

يعوّل المكتب السياسي للحزب الشيوعي اللبناني على دعم الأحزاب والقوى الشيوعية والعمالية والتقدمية لقضيته العادلة، وعلى استعدادها للتحرّك والتضامن مع لبنان وفلسطين وسائر شعوبالمنطقة، ويدعوها إلى رفع الصوت في دولها، وفي بياناتها وتحركاتها وفي طليعتها التحرك السياسي والشعبي امام السفارات الإسرائيلية والأميركية، كما في البرلمانات الوطنية والإقليمية، ومختلف المؤسسات الدولية، وتقديم المساعداتللهيئات الصحية والاجتماعية لدعم الصمود الشعبي للبنانيين.

من أجل الوقف الفوري لحرب الإبادة الجماعية في غزة والعدوان على لبنان ودول المنطقة.

من أجل تعزيز التضامن الأممي بين الشعوب
