Statement of the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia

The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia expresses its full solidarity with our comrades from the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) following the recent arrests of activists and participants in protests against the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. These arrests represent a direct attack on the democratic rights of the Turkish people and all those fighting for a better and fairer future.

The AKP government, which is implementing increasingly harsh measures against its own people, seeks to suppress any form of resistance through repression, violence, and mass arrests. These actions clearly demonstrate the authoritarian nature of the regime, which fears the strength of the working class and progressive movements in Turkey.

The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia expresses its full support for the Communist Party of Turkey and all political prisoners who have been unjustly detained for their struggle against repression and injustice. We are confident that the working class and revolutionary forces in Turkey will not allow themselves to be intimidated and will continue their fight for freedom, equality, and socialism.

Solidarity with TKP! Freedom for our comrades from TKP!
