Dear comrades,
On the occasion of today’s election in Venezuela, the Workers Party of Ireland sends its greetings and solidarity to our comrades in the Communist Party of Venezuela. The WPI condemns the attacks against the labour movement and the Communist Party of Venezuela, the political party of the Venezuelan working class.
The Workers Party of Ireland opposes all attempts and manoeuvres by the PSUV to strip the PCV of its political-electoral rights and stands with the communists and workers who face persecution and prohibitions against the free exercise of their political and social rights.
Long live the Communist Party of Venezuela!
Long live socialist internationalism!
