Solidarity with the struggle of The Lebanese people

and its progressive democratic union movement and grass roots movement [En, Ar]

The representatives of the international communist and workers' parties gathered at their seventeenth meeting, in Istanbul - Turkey, confirm their support for the struggle of the Lebanese Communist Party and the Communist Youth in Lebanon for the salvation of the sectarian quota system and the building of democratic secular state that fortifies Lebanon and its people in the face of escalating aggressive imperialism and Israeli aggression against their homeland and the Arabic region as a whole. This aggression, which encouraged all forms of terrorism and war, resulting in killing, displacement, kidnapping, devastation and destruction, aimed at breaking up the Arab countries into feuding sectarian and doctrinal cantons in order to easily keep them and their oil and gas wealth under control.

The representatives of the international communist and workers' parties declare that the proposed program by the Lebanese Communist Party in order to help Lebanon and its people, namely the working class, is the only solution to get out of the worsening political and socio-economic crisis caused by widespread unemployment and extreme poverty , which is affecting more than a third of the people and is worsening by the presence of nearly two million displaced as a result of Israeli attacks and the terrorist war on Syria.

Finally, the representatives of the international communist and workers' parties confirm their solidarity with the grass roots movement continued for more than three months, and that the Lebanese Communist Party actively participates in it, in order to consolidate public freedoms, starting with the freedom to demonstrate. We also condemn the barbaric violence that has been practiced and still against the demonstrators, and the illegal arrests, especially referring activists to the military court.

قرار تضامني مع نضال الشعب اللبناني

وحركته النقابية الديمقراطية والتقدمية والحراك الشعبي

يؤكد ممثلو الأحزاب الشيوعية والعمالية العالمية المجتمعين في لقائهم السابع عشر، في اسطنبول – تركيا، دعمهم لنضال الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني والشبيبة الشيوعية في لبنان من أجل الخلاص من نظام المحاصصة الطائفية وبناء الدولة العلمانية الديمقراطية التي تحصّن لبنان وشعبه في مواجهة تفاقم العدوانية الامبريالية والاسرائيلية ضد وطنهم والمنطقة العربية ككل. هذه العدوانية، التي شجعت كافة أشكال الارهاب والحروب، وما ينتج عنها من قتل وتهجير وخطف وخراب ودمار، تهدف الى تفتيت البلدان العربية الى كانتونات طائفية ومذهبية متصارعة، بما يسهل ابقاءها وابقاء ثرواتها النفطية والغازية تحت السيطرة.

ويعلن ممثلو الأحزاب الشيوعية والعمالية العالمية أن البرنامج المقترح من قبل الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني من أجل مساعدة لبنان وشعبه، وبالتحديد طبقته العاملة، يشكل الحل الوحيد للخروج من الأزمة السياسية والاقتصادية – الاجتماعية المتفاقمة والناجمة عن تفشي البطالة والفقر المدقع الذي أصبح يطال أكثر من ثلث الشعب، والذي تزداد حدته من خلال وجود ما يقارب المليوني مهجّر من جراء الاعتداءات الاسرائيلية والحرب الارهابية على سوريا.

أخيرا، يؤكد ممثلو الأحزاب الشيوعية والعمالية العالمية تضامنهم مع الحراك الشعبي المستمر منذ أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر، والذي يشارك فيه الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني بفعالية، بهدف ترسيخ الحريات العامة، بدءا بحرية التظاهر. كما يدينون العنف البربري الذي مورس ولا يزال ضد المتظاهرين، والاعتقالات غير القانونية، وخاصة تحويل المناضلين الى المحكمة العسكرية.
